For Jordanian calligrapher, Hassan Abu Nemeh, walking through the streets of Amman evokes a sense of sadness and nostalgia. The artist, used to admiring old hand-painted signs adorning shops in the city, said while modern signs are more practical, they aren't as beautiful as the classical ones.
