Nepal has some of South Asia's most progressive laws on homosexuality and transgender rights. In a recently held transgender beauty contest, Anmol Rai, a transwoman, was chosen as Miss Pink Nepal 2024. She will be representing the country now at the Miss International Queen 2024 competition, to be held in Thailand this year. Here are the highlights.
