Irish hip-hop trio Kneecap has taken center stage in Havana, performing as part of a humanitarian aid convoy delivering critical supplies to Cuba.
Arriving with the Nuestra América Convoy, the group helped bring medicine, food, water, and solar panels—while also using music to send a strong political message. During their performance, chants of “Cuba Sí, Bloqueo No” echoed through the crowd, calling for an end to the long-standing U.S. blockade.
Band member Mo Chara described Cuba as “being strangled,” emphasizing solidarity between Ireland and Cuba, while criticizing U.S. leadership under Donald Trump.
