Kerala’s newly elected Congress-led UDF government has officially announced portfolios for its 21-member cabinet after approval from Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar. Chief Minister V. D. Satheesan has retained key departments including Finance and Law. The portfolio allocation marks a major political shift in the state as the UDF returns to power after nearly a decade, setting the stage for a new governance agenda in Kerala.
