Japan is embarking on a major shift in its defence posture with the decision to equip its aegis-guided missile destroyer -- the JS Chokai. It will be equipped with the US Made tomahawk cruise missiles. This move comes in the backdrop of intensifying regional tensions around the Indo-Pacific.
