Gulf countries are increasingly bearing the impact of Iran’s retaliatory attacks as the conflict with the United States and Israel intensifies. Several Gulf states hosting U.S. military assets have been targeted with missiles and drones during Tehran’s response.
Explosions and interceptions have been reported across parts of the region, including the UAE, Qatar and Kuwait, after Iran launched strikes aimed at U.S. facilities and allied targets.
Since the conflict began, Iran has launched large numbers of drones and ballistic missiles at Gulf locations. In the UAE alone, authorities say hundreds of drones and missiles have been intercepted during the attacks.
The escalation has raised fears of a wider regional war, with Gulf governments warning that attacks on their territory threaten regional stability and energy infrastructure.
