As Iran prepares to resume nuclear talks with European powers, Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has taken a hardline stance against the United States. In a fiery address, Khamenei accused Washington of trying to enforce “obedience” on Iran — a move he called a grave insult to the Iranian people. The comments come amid a fragile geopolitical environment, following the June war between Iran, Israel, and the US. European countries have warned of reactivating UN sanctions if Tehran doesn't return to the table in good faith.
