Indian Army's first dedicated communications satellite by 2028

India’s first dedicated Indian Army communications satellite is expected to launch around mid-2028, according to officials. Developed for the Army, the satellite will strengthen secure military communications and improve operational coordination. The mission, led by ISRO, is expected to boost India’s defence space capabilities.
