India’s Textile Exports To UK May Double In 5-6 Years

India and the United Kingdom signed a landmark free trade agreement on may 6, after nearly three years of negotiations. The agreement, expected to take effect in 2026, eliminates tariffs on 99% of indian goods, with textiles and apparel set to benefit the most.
