The Democratic Republic of Congo released 420 prisoners from its largest and most overcrowded prison, after images of dire conditions posted to social media by a recently freed journalist sparked widespread outcry. However human rights advocates are denouncing the government's knee jerk reaction, as too little too late and a lot of reforms need to be done in the prison system of the country.
