Gravitas: China demands $10 Million from Maldives; India steps in with help

China has asked the Maldives to pay up $10 million in middle of the pandemic. According to estimates, The Maldives owes China anything between $1.3 billion to $3.2 billion in debt. India has stepped in with $5.6 million as grants for high-impact projects in the Maldives. WION's Executive Editor Palki Sharma Upadhyay has a report.
