Ghana has announced plans to evacuate around 300 of its citizens from South Africa following rising concerns over ongoing anti-immigrant marches in parts of the country. The move comes as tensions increase and foreign nationals report growing fear amid street demonstrations and unrest.
South African President Cyril Ramaphosa has rejected claims that the country is xenophobic, insisting that constitutional protections remain in place even as authorities monitor the situation closely.
