Germany's foreign intelligence agency is taking an unusual approach to recruitment: looking for cyber talent among gamers. The Bundesnachrichtendienst, or BND, is setting up a recruitment presence at Gamescom 2026 in Cologne, where visitors can take part in a five-stage cybersecurity challenge designed to test technical and hacking skills.
