Foreign Investors Look To China’s Land Policies As Contracts Expire

Coca-Cola has secured a 50-year lease for a plot in Guangzhou's Huangpu district. The $23.6 million deal will enable Coca-Cola to expand its operations in China, one of its largest markets. The new facility, expected to open in 2026, will boost production capacity to 1.5 million tonnes annually, this marks a 200% increase from the current 500,000 tonnes.
