Breaking: US judge rules Google holds illegal ad tech monopolies

In a landmark decision the US district judge has ruled that Google unlawfully monopolized key segments of the online advertising technology market. It marks a significant setback for the tech giant in an antitrust case brought by the US Department of Justice. And for over a decade Google has locked publishers and advertisers into its ad tech ecosystem, in a way wielding its publisher ad server and ad exchange as twin weapons to crush competition and also dictate terms.
