A major aviation mishap was narrowly avoided after a Hyderabad-bound Air India flight from Bengaluru suffered a bird hit during its final approach to Rajiv Gandhi International Airport in Shamshabad. The pilot detected the impact at low altitude, immediately informed Air Traffic Control, and safely landed the aircraft without injuries or further complications. Authorities are now assessing the aircraft for damage as questions rise over bird strike risks near busy airports.
