Bangladesh: Jamaat-e-Islami holds its first political rally after a decade
The hardline Islamist organisation Jamaat-e-Islami held a political rally in Dhaka on Saturday demanding the setting up of a caretaker government to hold the next general elections in Bangladesh. This was the first political rally held by the Jamaat-e-Islami since 2013 when its registration as a political party was cancelled by the order of the High Court.
