Apple's earnings results beat estimates

Tech giant Apple has surprised analysts by posting better-than-expected sales and revenue numbers in the second quarter. The company reported a total revenue of 94 billion dollars, higher than analysts' prediction of 92.6 billion dollars. Sales of iPhones, too, did better than what analysts expected.
