Taliban: Afghanistan is currently enduring a total internet blackout imposed by the Taliban regime, which has severed fiber-optic connections and cut mobile internet and telephone services nationwide. The shutdown, which began with regional restrictions earlier this month, escalated to a complete telecommunications blackout by late September 2025.
