A 28-year-old Indian national from Punjab's Kapurthala district, Gurdeep Singh, was fatally shot in Brooklyn, New York, during a suspected robbery attempt while out on a late-night pizza delivery. Singh, who moved to the United States years ago to support his family back home, was rushed to a local hospital with multiple gunshot wounds where he was pronounced dead.
