Joe Biden tripped and fell after handing out the last diploma at a graduation ceremony at the US Air force academy, but got up quickly and walked back to his seat. On his arrival at the White House, Biden joked about tripping on stage and said, i got sandbagged. Remember, Biden is the oldest person to hold the oval office. Polls show Americans are concerned about anyone over 75 becoming president. His leading republican opponent, Donald Trump, turns 77 this month. In February, doctors declared Biden healthy and fit for duty after a physical examination. Back then, doctors noted the US President does not drink alcohol or use tobacco, and exercises at least five times a week. Biden fell as he was dismounting his bicycle last June, after snaring a foot in a toe clip, but was uninjured.

The 45 bags which contained dismembered bodies were found at a forest overlook located in the Mirador del Bosque, a suburb of the western Mexican city of Guadalajara, reported DW.

However, the Jalisco state prosecutor’s office, which issued the statement about the bags, said it was not immediately clear if the remains were those of the seven missing workers but said that they will continue the search.

According to a report by the Associated Press, firefighters and civil defence used a helicopter to recover remains from the gorge and will continue to inspect the site in the upcoming days.

The officials also said that they began investigating after they received a report of possible body parts in the area. The first bag of human remains was reportedly found on Tuesday which led to the discovery of dozens of them by the next day. Preliminary reports suggest that the remains are of both men and women.

The search is being coordinated by the police with the Zapopan city’s civil protection forces and firefighters who worked to extract the bags found from the ravine. NSAs of India, Saudi, UAE & US met recently. This is potentially a second quad in the making, involving West Asian states, the other being India-Israel-UAE-US, or i2u2. Abraham accords, signed in 2020, have been significant in developing normalcy in ties among a number of nations in the region, including Israel, UAE & Bahrain. Although Israel & Saudi have not normalized their diplomatic ties yet, observer research foundation says there are intense backchannel engagements. While the relationship is expanding, Saudi is still not ready to normalize ties with Israel. India has old links with West Asia, but the relationship has seen added momentum in recent years with reciprocal high-level visits. While both india & US Have had a long-term presence in west asia, what is possibly driving fresh momentum is the role played by China in the region. Beijing recently brokered peace between regional arch-rivals saudi & iran. US & India are exploring additional combinations of partnerships.

Not only this, on the 17th May, the Philippine military chief also visited the remote islands near the disputed separately archipelago insisting that it was important for the Philippines to monitor and detect who had access to the waters in the territory. The United States claims it is expanding its military foot print in the Philippines to better defend Taiwan in case of a conflict. But by doing what it has done has Washington pushed the Philippines to the forefront of a firing range as and when hostilities break out with China in the region?
