However, he distanced himself from Hinchcliffe’s remarks and told Fox News on Tuesday (Oct 29) that he doesn’t know anything about Hinchcliffe and “can’t imagine it’s a big deal.” Although, later he said that “probably he shouldn’t have been there.” Trump said this in the swing state of Pennsylvania two days after the New York rally.

In an interview with ABC News on Tuesday, Trump said, “I don’t know him. Someone put him up there. I don’t know who he is.”

Trump was addressing a crowd in&nbsp;Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin, where he touched upon the issue of immigration after Harris discussed the subject a day earlier. The Republican leader blamed Harris for the current border situation where illegals were indiscriminately entering the US.&nbsp;&nbsp;

The report further stated that the move left UAV an investment partnership of former “Apprentice” contestants Andrew Litinsky and Wes Moss owning just 100 shares in Trump Media, which operates the Truth Social app.

The amount of money UAV got from the stock sales, which occurred within the past week, was not disclosed. But the price range that the DJT i.e., Trump Media shares has traded at during that time which saw unusually heavy trading volume suggests that UAV would have received between $128 million and $170 million for its stock. UAV was allowed to dump its 5.4 per cent stake in Trump Media after a lock-up agreement that barred company insiders from selling expired on September 19.

UAV is the only known insider to sell off shares after that day. Litinsky and Moss had pitched the idea of a social media company to former President Donald Trump, the star of the “Apprentice” show, and co-founded Trump Media with him in 2021.

The CNBC report further stated that the two later fell out with Trump and since then have been embroiled in lawsuits with Trump Media over their shares. Trump owns 114.7 million DJT shares, more than 56 per cent of Trump Media’s stock.

After UAV’s sale of its stake, the only other entity that holds more than 5 per cent of Trump Media shares is ARC Global Investments II LLC, which holds slightly more than 11 million shares. DJT stock closed Thursday at $13.98 per share, a decrease of about 1 per cent.

UAV later was awarded another 3.44 million shares that were issued “for no additional consideration based on the performance of our shares of Common Stock,” Trump Media said in an SEC filing on September 5.

That left UAV owning more than 10.96 million shares. Thursday’s Securities and Exchange Commission filing disclosing UAV’s sale of the vast majority of those shares does not give the dates or prices for the selloff.

Trump Media had warned in a Florida lawsuit that UAV was planning to sell “all of its shares as soon as possible” once the lock-up period expired. UAV’s disclosure of the sale in a 13G filing with the SEC came on the heels of a September 6 ruling by a federal judge in Delaware in UAV’s favor in a lawsuit against a securities transfer agent, Odyssey Transfer, and Trust Company.

On the first day of the Republican National Convention, Ohio Senator JD Vance received an official ticket for the 2024 Presidential elections as former US President Donald Trump's running mate. If the current polls convert to reality, Vance will be the next Vice President of the United States.

Eight years ago, 39-year-old freshman senator from Ohio, said he feared Trump could become “America’s Hitler”. Vance is married to Usha Chilukuri, a corporate litigator based in San Francisco, whose parents are from India. During their wedding in Kentucky in 2014, they also had a separate ceremony where they were blessed by a Hindu pundit, as reported by The New York Times.

Vance grew up in Middletown, Ohio, and joined the US Marines after high school, serving as a combat journalist and public relations officer during the Iraq War.

After his military service, he completed a degree in political science and philosophy at Ohio State University. He then studied law at Yale Law School, where he was an editor for the Yale Law Journal.

Upon graduating from Yale in 2013, he practiced law briefly before moving to San Francisco to work as a venture capitalist, including a role at Peter Thiel’s Mithril Capital.

Vance gained fame with his 2016 best-seller, Hillbilly Elegy. Released the same year Trump first took office, the book was seen as an insightful look into rural America, which contributed to Trump's rise.

The New York Times described Hillbilly Elegy as "a compassionate, discerning sociological analysis of the white underclass that has influenced the politics of rebellion, notably Donald J. Trump’s rise." A film adaptation of the book came out in 2020.

Vance is married to Usha Chilukuri, a corporate litigator based in San Francisco, whose parents are from India. During their wedding in Kentucky in 2014, they also had a separate ceremony where they were blessed by a Hindu pundit, as reported by The New York Times. Vance grew up in Middletown, Ohio, and joined the US Marines after high school, serving as a combat journalist and public relations officer during the Iraq War. After his military service, he completed a degree in political science and philosophy at Ohio State University. He then studied law at Yale Law School, where he was an editor for the Yale Law Journal. Upon graduating from Yale in 2013, he practiced law briefly before moving to San Francisco to work as a venture capitalist, including a role at Peter Thiel’s Mithril Capital. Vance gained fame with his 2016 best-seller, Hillbilly Elegy. Released the same year Trump first took office, the book was seen as an insightful look into rural America, which contributed to Trump's rise. The New York Times described Hillbilly Elegy as "a compassionate, discerning sociological analysis of the white underclass that has influenced the politics of rebellion, notably Donald J. Trump’s rise." A film adaptation of the book came out in 2020. At that time, Vance was a vocal critic of Trump. In an October 2016 interview, Vance cakled himself "Never Trump guy”. In a July 2016 op-ed for The Atlantic, he argued that Trump’s promises were like “cultural heroin,” offering temporary relief but failing to address deeper issues. "We had four weeks of declines on the back of the Mt. Gox news...but the rebound, it looks to me like it's got further to go and I wouldn't be surprised seeing it head back up towards, at least towards $65,000 by the end of this week," said IG's Sycamore.

CNN, which is set to host the debate on its platform on June 27, said that only President Joe Biden and his Republican rival Donald Trump had met the criteria to participate.

"Presidents Biden and Trump do not want me on the debate stage and CNN illegally agreed to their demand," Kennedy said in a statement. "My exclusion by Presidents Biden and Trump from the debate is undemocratic, un-American, and cowardly."

Out of the conditions put in place by the news organisation, one was to show up on enough state ballots to potentially win the presidency polls and the other was to receive at least 15% voter support in four separate national polls.

As per CNN's tally, Kennedy had garnered the said 15% in only three accepted polls to date and had qualified for the ballot in only six states.&nbsp;

This would not be sufficient to win the presidency.

Kennedy had alleged that the TV network's conditions were unjustly imposed and were deliberately intended to prevent him from going on stage.

The Kennedy campaign demanded the Federal Election Commission that it must take action by Thursday (June 20) and keep CNN, Biden and Trump from holding the debate scheduled for June 27 unless the channel makes changes. The FEC however declined to comment.

"If the debate goes forward without Mr. Kennedy, the Kennedy campaign intends to pursue this issue for as long as it takes to obtain justice against these illegal acts," the campaign said in a statement on Thursday.

Former US president and White House hopeful Donald Trump will on Monday (June 10) have a virtual interview with an official from the New York City Probation Department.

The interview follows a verdict that found him guilty of covering up a hush money payment and is part of preparing the sentencing recommendation that would be forwarded to the judge.

NBC News, citing a former commissioner for the New York City Department of Correction and Probation, reports that it was not normal for a probation interview to happen virtually.

"It is highly unusual for a pre-sentence investigation interview to be done over Zoom," said Martin Horn, adding that Trump visiting the courthouse in downtown Manhattan would be "very disruptive" to other court business. Given the presence of the Secret Service and media, he said it could be unfair to other defendants who might not want to be identified.

"So in the end, this might be better for the probation officer," he added.
