<p>Taylor Swift is back with a new single ‘Me!’ and she looks her happy self in the music video that is colourful, peppy dance moves, some fantasy bits and more. The singer released the song on Friday.</p>

<p>The song also features Brendon Urie of Panic! at the Disco.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Interestingly, for all Swifties who follow the singer religiously would know the mood that she had set with her last album ‘Reputation’ that was dark and snake-themed. This song is a far cry from that also it does start with a snake slithering that turns into a multiple number of butterflies.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Speaking on the song, she said, "It's a song about embracing your individuality and really celebrating it and owning it. You know, I think that with a pop song we have the ability to get a melody stuck in people's heads and I just want it to be one that makes people feel better about themselves, not worse."&nbsp;</p>

<p>Her last album ‘Reputation’, which was released in November 2017 and launched with 1.2 million copies sold in its first week. It became her sixth to sell more than 2 million copies in the US.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Apart from music, she will also be seen in Tom Hooper's big screen adaptation of the Andrew Lloyd Webber musical Cats in December as Bombalurina.</p>

It was all about TIME 100 gala on Tuesday as the world's most influential people got together to celebrate at Lincoln Center in New York City. This was the 15th annual TIME 100 gala as we saw Taylor Swift take centre stage with Brie Larson and Emilia Clarke. Swift looked ready for summers as she came dressed in a fairy-tale pink and yellow gown while Captain Marvel aka Brie Larson chose a bright green non-fussy tube gown. Emilia Clarke who plays the famous Dragon Queen on ‘Game of Thrones’ also came dressed in a red sheer bodice. This is the first time we have seen Swift in public after she announced the release of a new project, presumably music, on Friday, April 26. As for her mention in the list, fellow pop sensation Shawn Mendes wrote about her for the annual issue. "It all comes from her – her belief in magic and love, and her ability to be as honest and raw as possible," he revealed. "She’s the master of putting the perfect amount of thought into not overthinking, and that’s why her music connects so well," he added. <p>The 'Taki Taki' singer looks like a dream in the monochrome snaps shared by her. This is her first Instagram post since September 24, 2018.</p>

<p>E! News confirmed in October that Gomez had entered a treatment facility to take help for her ongoing mental issues related to anxiety and depression.</p>

<p>The news came weeks after the 'Heart Want What It Wants' singer was hospitalised for conditions related to her autoimmune disease lupus and a kidney transplant that she had undergone last year.</p>

<p>"Selena has been trying really hard recently to remain focused, and not let her health affect her. She has been actively writing new music and moved to Orange County for a change of pace and a fresh breath of air. Ultimately, with all of her arising health issues, Selena started to feel super overwhelmed," a source told E! News.</p>

<p>Last month, Gomez was spotted out in public for the first time since her treatment, enjoying a day out with her friends in California.</p>

<p>Just a few days back, Gomez was spotted spending some quality time with Taylor Swift and Cazzie David.</p>

<p>Taylor also shared a picture with the 'Back To You' singer on her Instagram account. &nbsp;</p>

American singer Selena Gomez is back on social media after a few tough months. The 26 -year-old singer took to Instagram to share a series of black and white candids of herself and thanked her fans for their constant love and support. "It's been a while since you have heard from me, but I wanted to wish everyone a happy new year and to thank you for your love and support. Last year was definitely a year of self-reflection, challenges and growth. It's always those challenges which show you who you are and what you are capable of overcoming. Trust me, it's not easy, but I am proud of the person I am becoming and look forward to the year ahead. Love you all," she wrote. A post shared by Selena Gomez (@selenagomez) on Jan 14, 2019 at 2:09pm PST × The 'Taki Taki' singer looks like a dream in the monochrome snaps shared by her. This is her first Instagram post since September 24, 2018. E! News confirmed in October that Gomez had entered a treatment facility to take help for her ongoing mental issues related to anxiety and depression. The news came weeks after the 'Heart Want What It Wants' singer was hospitalised for conditions related to her autoimmune disease lupus and a kidney transplant that she had undergone last year. "Selena has been trying really hard recently to remain focused, and not let her health affect her. She has been actively writing new music and moved to Orange County for a change of pace and a fresh breath of air. Ultimately, with all of her arising health issues, Selena started to feel super overwhelmed," a source told E! News. Last month, Gomez was spotted out in public for the first time since her treatment, enjoying a day out with her friends in California. Just a few days back, Gomez was spotted spending some quality time with Taylor Swift and Cazzie David. Taylor also shared a picture with the 'Back To You' singer on her Instagram account. <p>If there was one pop singer that had an eventful 2018, then it has to be Taylor Swift who was on top of every music chart and bagged records left, right and centre.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Taylor’s ‘Reputation’ concert tour became the highest-selling tour in the US history and you can gauge its popularity by way of its demand on streaming platforms. There is good news for people who missed it as the tour is now coming on Netflix.</p>

<p>Netflix launched a dramatic trailer for the ‘Reputation’ stadium tour which premieres on the platform globally on December 31.&nbsp;</p>

<p>As you see the first few minutes of the stadium tour, you can hear Taylor say: “When she fell, she fell apart. When she finally rose, she rose slowly.”&nbsp;</p>

<p>While she narrates, there are shots of screaming crowds and stage crammed with dancers and musicians, you then heard a voice saying: “She heard echoes of new words. Without your past, you could never have arrived here.” and Taylor adds, “I want to talk to you about something” and “I love you guys so, so, so, so much.”</p>

<p>The Netflix film will show the expanse of the show which is a 60,000-person run event including pyrotechnics, fireworks, multiple stages and a 63-foot cobra.&nbsp;</p>

Yet, even in its worst-case scenario, the IMF found that the disruption won't kill off growth and drag the global economy into recession. Google+ to shut down after data of at least 500,000 users exposed Alphabet Inc's Google will shut down the consumer version of its failed social network Google+ and tighten its data sharing policies after announcing on Monday that private profile data of at least 500,000 users may have been exposed to hundreds of external developers. No developer exploited the vulnerability or misused data, the review found. Trump apologises to Kavanaugh, says he is innocent of sexual assault charges US Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh sought to put a bruising confirmation battle behind him on Monday at a White House ceremony in which President Donald Trump declared him innocent of sexual misconduct and apologised for the heated process. "On behalf of our nation, I want to apologise to Brett and the entire Kavanaugh family for the terrible pain and suffering you have been forced to endure," Trump said at the start of a ceremonial swearing-in in the East Room of the White House. "Those who step forward to serve our country deserve a fair and dignified evaluation, not a campaign of political and personal destruction based on lies and deception," he said. Trump says he likes Taylor Swift's music 'about 25% less' after she endorses Democrats US President Donald Trump has said he likes Taylor Swift's music "about 25 per cent less" after the pop superstar endorsed the Democrats running for office in Tennessee in the upcoming US midterm elections. Tennessee is Swift's home state. Swift backed Phil Bredesen and Jim Cooper, who are running for the Senate and the House of Representatives. She also launched a fierce attack on Bredesen's opponent, the Republican Marsha Blackburn, who currently serves in the House. Swift made her comments on Sunday on Instagram.

Pop star Taylor Swift is not really known for making political statements, but the "Bad Blood" singer is no longer holding back ahead of the midterm elections in November. In a lengthy post on Instagram, where she has 112 million followers, the 28-year-old Swift says while she has been "reluctant" to share her political views in the past, she has changed her mind. She endorsed the Democrat running for the US Senate in her home state of Tennessee, and unleashed a fierce attack on his opponent, Republican Marsha Blackburn, who currently serves in the House. "As much as I have in the past and would like to continue voting for women in office, I cannot support Marsha Blackburn. Her voting record in Congress appalls and terrifies me," Swift said. "She voted against equal pay for women. She voted against the Reauthorization of the Violence Against Women Act, which attempts to protect women from domestic violence, stalking, and date rape." View this post on Instagram I’m writing this post about the upcoming midterm elections on November 6th, in which I’ll be voting in the state of Tennessee. In the past I’ve been reluctant to publicly voice my political opinions, but due to several events in my life and in the world in the past two years, I feel very differently about that now. I always have and always will cast my vote based on which candidate will protect and fight for the human rights I believe we all deserve in this country. I believe in the fight for LGBTQ rights, and that any form of discrimination based on sexual orientation or gender is WRONG. I believe that the systemic racism we still see in this country towards people of color is terrifying, sickening and prevalent. I cannot vote for someone who will not be willing to fight for dignity for ALL Americans, no matter their skin color, gender or who they love. Running for Senate in the state of Tennessee is a woman named Marsha Blackburn. As much as I have in the past and would like to continue voting for women in office, I cannot support Marsha Blackburn. Her voting record in Congress appalls and terrifies me. She voted against equal pay for women. She voted against the Reauthorization of the Violence Against Women Act, which attempts to protect women from domestic violence, stalking, and date rape. She believes businesses have a right to refuse service to gay couples. She also believes they should not have the right to marry. These are not MY Tennessee values. I will be voting for Phil Bredesen for Senate and Jim Cooper for House of Representatives. Please, please educate yourself on the candidates running in your state and vote based on who most closely represents your values. For a lot of us, we may never find a candidate or party with whom we agree 100% on every issue, but we have to vote anyway. So many intelligent, thoughtful, self-possessed people have turned 18 in the past two years and now have the right and privilege to make their vote count. But first you need to register, which is quick and easy to do. October 9th is the LAST DAY to register to vote in the state of TN. Go to vote.org and you can find all the info. Happy Voting! 🗳😃🌈 A post shared by Taylor Swift (@taylorswift) on Oct 7, 2018 at 4:33pm PDT × Last year, Swift won a lawsuit against a former radio DJ she accused of groping her. Blackburn "believes businesses have a right to refuse service to gay couples. She also believes they should not have the right to marry," Swift added. "These are not MY Tennessee values. I will be voting for Phil Bredesen for Senate and Jim Cooper for House of Representatives." She urged her fans to register to vote, saying: "Please, please educate yourself on the candidates running in your state and vote based on who most closely represents your values. Female singers given a miss, upset with American Music Awards nominations

<p>MTV Video Music Awards since its launch in 1984 continues to be one of the most shocking and jaw-dropping award ceremonies. From Madonna kissing Britney Spears live in 2003 to Miley Cyrus twerking on Robin Thicke on stage in a barely-there two-piece costume&nbsp;in 2013, VMA sets the bar for the most scandalous on-stage performances, ever.</p>

<p>In case you missed it, here&#39;s what went happened at the VMAs 2017:&nbsp;</p>

<h2>Katy Perry: The Host</h2>

<p>Katy Perry hosted the awards this year. She raised eyebrows for her bizarre costumes and hosting style. Hers was the strangest VMAs opening ever as she was suspended from the roof, dressed in a silver space suit. While some looked entertained by her act, others like&nbsp;Jack Antonoff and Ellen DeGeneres seemed less impressed. Her intergalactic-themed opening monologue was quite a start though for some. The&nbsp;Bon App&eacute;tit singer soon stripped into a nude bodysuit from her oh-so-shiny space suit and was quoted:&nbsp;&ldquo;I gotta get out of this space suit.&quot;</p>

Glamour, talent, and performances; this is the ultimate roundup of all the best that happened at the VMAs this year

MTV Video Music Awards since its launch in 1984 continues to be one of the most shocking and jaw-dropping award ceremonies. From Madonna kissing Britney Spears live in 2003 to Miley Cyrus twerking on Robin Thicke on stage in a barely-there two-piece costume in 2013, VMA sets the bar for the most scandalous on-stage performances, ever. In case you missed it, here's what went happened at the VMAs 2017: Katy Perry: The Host Katy Perry hosted the awards this year. She raised eyebrows for her bizarre costumes and hosting style. Hers was the strangest VMAs opening ever as she was suspended from the roof, dressed in a silver space suit. While some looked entertained by her act, others like Jack Antonoff and Ellen DeGeneres seemed less impressed. Her intergalactic-themed opening monologue was quite a start though for some. The Bon Appétit singer soon stripped into a nude bodysuit from her oh-so-shiny space suit and was quoted: “I gotta get out of this space suit." × × PINK: Video Vanguard Award PINK delivered a show-stopping speech while receiving her Video Vanguard Award from Ellen DeGeneres. The strong vocals singer spoke openly about body image while narrating an incident between her 6-year-old daughter Willow and her. × × × She said on stage: Willow recently told her, “Mama … I am the ugliest girl I know”. “And I said, ‘huh?’ And she was like, ‘Yeah, I look like a boy with long hair,’” “And my brain went to, ‘Oh, my god. Everything that happened at the MTV Video Music Awards 2017 with Katy Perry as the host

<p>Taylor Swift is back with a new single.&nbsp; The song titled&nbsp;&quot;Look What You Made Me Do&quot; uses an&nbsp;interpolation from Right Said Fred&#39;s 1991 hit &quot;I&#39;m Too Sexy&quot;.</p>

<p>The&nbsp; 27-year-old singer dropped her latest number late hours on Thursday to&nbsp;streaming platforms and iTunes.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The song features elements of pop, dance, and house, and&nbsp;includes sharp lyrics like: &quot;Honey, I rose up from the dead I do it all the time/I got a list of names and yours is in red, underlined I check it once/Then I check it twice.&quot;</p>

<p>Taylor Swift also leaves a message at the end of the song saying: &quot;I&#39;m sorry, but the old Taylor can&#39;t come to the phone right now. Why? Oh, &#39;cause she&#39;s dead.&quot;</p>

<p>The song is the first single from her sixth album, &quot;Reputation,&quot; to be released Nov. 10. A clip of the song&#39;s video was scheduled to premiere today on &quot;Good Morning America.&quot;</p>

<p>Music aficionados feel that the song could be a hit at Kanye West with whom the young singer had run into a number of issues in the past. Last year their feud took to a new low when Kanye West&#39;s wife, Kim Kardashian released audio recordings that she said proved Swift gave West the go ahead for a Swift reference in the song &quot;Famous.&quot;</p>

<p>Swift&#39;s voice message on her new song could be a reference to the audio Kardashian leaked. Others felt the opening lines of &quot;Look What You Made Me Do&quot; &mdash; &quot;I don&#39;t like your little games/Don&#39;t like your tilted stage&quot; &mdash; was a reference to West&#39;s recent tour, which featured a floating stage.</p>

<p>The album &quot;Reputation&quot; is the follow-up to 2014&#39;s &quot;1989,&quot; Swift&#39;s first official pop album after years of dominating in country music.</p>

<p>&quot;1989&quot; had launched seven hit singles, from &quot;Shake It Off&quot; to &quot;Bad Blood,&quot; and won three Grammys, including album of the year.
