The actor, in an interview to a daily, admitted to the inequalities that exist in the film industry and said, "There is inequality in India that needs to be explored. Nepotism, favoritism and camps are different subjects. Even I have been a victim of nepotism but nobody speaks of that. I’m happy to see more people from film institutes come to the forefront."<br />

Khan, in fact was part of the now-infamous episode of Koffee With Karan where Kangana Ranaut had accused host Karan Johar of being the 'flagbearer of nepotism' in Bollywood. Recalling the episode, Khan said, "I have no idea what Kangana was saying on 'Koffee with Karan' because I don’t think like that. As far as Karan is concerned, he has made himself a large symbol and it seems like he’s attracting a lot of flak for it. The truth is always complicated. 'Parineeta' completes 15 years, Vidya Balan, Sanjay Dutt go down the memory lane

<p>A day before the Indian government opened up public places after nearly three months of lockdown, actor couple Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan stepped out with their son Taimur for a stroll at Mumbai's Marine Drive.<br />

The couple and their son were accompanied by a nanny and were seen enjoying the breeze at the Marine Drive on Suday evening. Several photos and videos of the family have made it to social media and in some, the family is without any mask.<br />

The pictures have drawn severe criticism from the fans. In the images shared online, Kareena is seen wearing a black printed dress and white sneakers. She wears a breathing mask for safety. The actress was seen holding son Taimur's hand who wore white T-shirt and shorts with matching shoes. Saif too was spotted with the mother-son duo and was dressed in white kurta pyjama. Both Saif and son Taimur were seen without masks on multiple occasions.</p>

Promote like a crazy person. Come home and not sleep because you have to start again. Or, hang out in New York the whole day. It’s my favourite city in the world any day. I mean my favourite city outside India. There are a lot of beautiful heritage, culture and beautiful sites in our country that I really like. But if I am leaving India, I will go to New York.&nbsp;</p>

There are very few things in my profession that are exciting without being nerve-wracking or nerve-wracking without being exciting. It's almost like you can’t ever decide. Right now the attire that I have seen, between you and me, I am a little more nervous than excited. The dress is high on glamour, is beautiful, high fashion -- so it’s okay.&nbsp;</p>

I think it is not adhering to external definitions. It being authentic but also being an amalgamation of things around you. You take in from society --whether it's from the past, visions of the future, living in the present. One is a combination of all these different things. I, for instance, am an educated actor. That's different. That's not something that happens all the time that you will go to an Ivy League college and come back to become a heroine. Breaking conventions and doing ‘you’ rather than doing what's expected of you is what this stands for me.&nbsp;</p>

It is eclectic, it changes. It’s very different for me. On a personal level, I believe that less is more. I think the more understated you are, the better it is in general but when it comes to like events, even then, it’s most important to be original to who you are. You can have fun with who you are as well. As a person I don't really like to adhere to fashion rules or anything. Lately for my promotions, (one day), I wore red eyeliner and pink eyeshadow and I enjoyed it. More than anything else, when i dress up, for any event, it's about dressing up for myself.&nbsp;</p>

There have been changes. Cinema is a true depiction of society. The more society changes, the more cinema changes. With the last film I did right now, it is an attempt to showcase what women are in a more real and relatable sense. I think that the audiences are beginning to want that a little more. They just want honesty, newness, and relatability with content. It’s not just about candy floss anymore. There needs to be a deeper meaning. As far as a woman’s role is concerned, whether as actors or characters, in society or in cinema, women have the ability and are taking lead -- that is what is being depicted in films as well.&nbsp;</p>

<p><strong>If not an actress, what would you be?</strong><br />
A lawyer. I have always been interested in the idea of law, even politics.&nbsp;</p>

<p><strong>You have had a drastic transformation in body size. What’s your take on body positivity?</strong><br />
That's key, it's very important for you to embrace who you are. It's very important for you to be able to define what is correct for yourself. I don't condone being 96 kgs but that's not because of society but because it's not healthy. Sometimes society can be a good mirror for telling you what’s correct and what's not. But you shouldn't use it as a constraining factor. You should consider all opinions always but ultimately do what works best for you.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Filmmaker Om Raut's Bollywood directorial debut may have factual discrepancies, but&nbsp; 'Tanhaji: The Unsung Hero'&nbsp; is one of the best period war dramas that Bollywood has produced in recent times.</p>

<p>Shot brilliantly with commendable performances by the entire cast, 'Tanhaji: The Unsung Hero' is based in the 17th century and narrates the story of Maratha warrior Tanhaji Malusare- a trusted aid of Maratha emperor Shivaji, who fought the battle of Kondhana to safeguard the fort from Mughal invasion. Shivaji had to reluctantly give up 28 of his forts to Aurangzeb but four years later, he pledged to take Kondhana back because of its strategic location. Aurangzeb sent his most trusted warrior, a Rajput called Udaybhan to capture Kondhana(present-day Singhgarh) with a large army, a mammoth cannon called 'Nagin' and lot of artillery.</p>

<p>Compared to the Mughals, Tanhaji leads a motley group of fierce Maratha warriors and captured the fort over a long battle one night.</p>

<p>Raut uses a sufficient amount of creative liberty to tell a tale that may not have been taught in school to everyone. While the clashes between Shivaji and Aurangzeb are well known- the story tries to delve deeper and talk of the warriors from both sides who fought on behalf of their kings.</p>

<p>Lavish sets, sleek camera work, superb stunts, and great CGI dominate each frame of Tanhaji making the film a visual spectacle. The technical finesse is there for everyone to see and while the film takes you back in time, the film has state of the art CGI making the battle scene especially come alive. Each of the stunts is well performed and the film has been shot keeping in mind the 3d aspect. Frames by cinematographer Keiko Nakahara are awe-inspiring.</p>

Sharad Kelkar, who plays Shivaji Maharaj has limited screen time but leaves a lasting impression. The effervescent <strong>Kajol appears only in a handful of scenes as Savitri Bai,</strong> Tanhaji's wife but simply lights up the screen with her presence. Its a delight watch the real-life couple play the reel couple after so many years.</p>

<p>The star of the film, though, is Saif Ali Khan, who brings a certain amount of mayhem as Udaybhan Rathod. An eccentric who has a cunning smile plastered on his face throughout, <strong>Saif makes evil look good</strong>. Time and again, Saif has proved that given a good script, he delivers and in Om Raut and Prakash Kapadia's detailed screenplay, the actor gets ample scope to showcase his talent.</p>

<p>The scenes near the climax which has <strong>Ajay Devgn and Saif Ali Khan pitted against each other</strong> are the high points of the film.</p>

<p>While the film is technically sound and boasts of great performances, it takes a copious amount of liberty in terms of historical facts. The makers try to project Mughals as the oppressors from whom the Marathas seek freedom and live in a Swarajya. The film opens to 17th century Bharat- which is historically not true considering the concept of one nation never really existed at that time. Each emperor was just busy consolidating his kingdom, there was no concept one nation.</p>

<p>The actors speak a mix of Marathi and Urdu laced Hindi which is somewhat ironic. I found myself lost on many occasions when the actors spoke out a line here and there in Marathi. Perhaps subtitles would have helped.</p>

<p>If you are willing to overlook the facts and history, 'Tanhaji: The Unsung Hero' makes for a thrilling watch. There is not a single dull moment -especially in the second half when the war scenes come alive. The film has sleek action, well-shot scenes and a very menacing Saif Ali Khan who more than makes up for all the flaws.</p>

Time and again, Saif has proved that given a good script, he delivers and in Om Raut and Prakash Kapadia's detailed screenplay, the actor gets ample scope to showcase his talent. The scenes near the climax which has Ajay Devgn and Saif Ali Khan pitted against each other are the high points of the film. While the film is technically sound and boasts of great performances, it takes a copious amount of liberty in terms of historical facts. The makers try to project Mughals as the oppressors from whom the Marathas seek freedom and live in a Swarajya. The film opens to 17th century Bharat- which is historically not true considering the concept of one nation never really existed at that time. Each emperor was just busy consolidating his kingdom, there was no concept one nation. The actors speak a mix of Marathi and Urdu laced Hindi which is somewhat ironic. I found myself lost on many occasions when the actors spoke out a line here and there in Marathi. Perhaps subtitles would have helped. If you are willing to overlook the facts and history, 'Tanhaji: The Unsung Hero' makes for a thrilling watch. There is not a single dull moment -especially in the second half when the war scenes come alive. The film has sleek action, well-shot scenes and a very menacing Saif Ali Khan who more than makes up for all the flaws. <p>Apart from Ajay, Saif Ali Khan will also be seen sharing screen space with the former after almost 12 years. They were last seen together in the 2006 hit film 'Omkara'.<br />

Saif will play the role of an antagonist, Uday Bhan, a Rajput official who works for Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb. It will also star Kajol.
