Many residents of the Falklands, one of Britain`s remote outposts left over from imperial days, are fiercely patriotic and were looking forward to flying the Union Jack flag in honor of Prince Harry and his American bride Meghan Markle.

 
"As a Falkland Islander, I definitely feel a bond with the royal family as a symbol of Britishness. I am a staunch royalist," said Arlette Betts, speaking in her home on the waterfront in Port Stanley, the tiny capital and home to most of the archipelago`s 4,000 inhabitants.

 
Argentina disputes Britain`s sovereignty over the Falklands, which lie 300 miles (500 km) from the Argentine coast, and the two countries fought a war in 1982 over the islands. As a result, the British military is popular with the Islanders.

 
"I think we can all relate to them here in the islands, particularly since the young lads served in the military," said Leona Roberts, a member of the archipelago`s Legislative Assembly.

 
She was referring to Prince Harry and his older brother Prince William, who both had military careers before dedicating themselves full-time to royal duties. 
Roberts was one of the organizers of a royal wedding party due to take place at the Falkland Islands Defence Force headquarters, where children were expected to dress up as princes and princesses and receive special gifts.

 
Betts, however, intended to spend the day at home in front of the television so she could give her full attention to events in faraway Windsor.

 
"I think some people are having a party but I would not want that. I like to be able to take it all in without being disturbed," she said.

Apart from Indian actress Priyanka Chopra, there are three other Indians attending the wedding.

Suhani Jalota from Mumbai who is the founder Myna Mahila Foundation, the NGO that promotes menstrual hygiene and was selected by Prince Harry and Meghan Markle as one of the seven charities to benefit from donations from the Royal Wedding.

The foundation is also one of seven charities the royal couple has selected for guests to donate money to in lieu of gifts after Markle visited it last year.

She will make her way from London to Windsor Castle, 20 miles away, to attend the royal wedding.

''It is a great honour and responsibility because I will be a representative of India at the wedding,'' Suhani Jalota&nbsp;

She will be wearing a peach sari and will be accompanied by three other women from her Myna Mahila Foundation.

Archana Ambre, 25, a sales manager from Myna Mahila Foundation who lives in Mankhurd slum, and Deborah Das, 31, production and HR manager with the charity, from Maharashtra Nagar slum, will also join the star-studded guest list with Suhani Jalota at the wedding inside Windsor Castle.

Neither Ambre nor Das had ever flown on an aeroplane before. In fact, Das did not even have a passport when she got the invitation card printed in gold with her name on in the post a month ago.&nbsp;

They have received invitations to the wedding alongside the founder of the charity, Suhani Jalota, 23, and its UK volunteer, Imogen Mansfield, 26.

Suhani Jalota is one of the 600 guests attending the St George’s Chapel service, whereas the other three will watch from inside the grounds of Windsor Castle alongside 100 schoolchildren, charity representatives and handpicked members of the public.

Apart from the Queen and royalty, famous stars like singer Sir Elton John, American tennis star Serena Williams, Meghan’s Suits co-stars, designer Mino Nonoo, and Victoria and David Beckham will also be seen.

“Meghan is sincere and well-researched. When she came to see us, she did not just talk about women’s empowerment because it was trendy. She knew her stuff,” Jalota said. “She said she would help us in any way she could. We never anticipated something like this would happen. It is an honour to be representing India — I feel so excited. It was a huge shock. I am looking forward to seeing Meghan and the other charities and we are really excited about seeing Priyanka.”

Opposite, a new array of sleeping bags has appeared, the temporary home for royal superfans, some of whom have travelled thousands of miles to spend their days and nights on Windsor`s streets for a glimpse of the queen`s grandson Prince Harry and his fiancee Meghan Markle`s on their glittering wedding day.&nbsp 
 
"They’ve got their own home, they’re camping. We actually live out here. That’s the difference," Davis, originally from the nearby town of Slough, told Reuters. 
 
The issue of rough sleepers in Windsor made headlines in January when the local council leader said they would be cleared from the streets before Saturday`s wedding because their “detritus” was presenting the quaint town, dominated by the castle to the west of London, in a poor light.&nbsp 
 
Simon Dudley, the leader of the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead council, wrote on Twitter there had been an “epidemic of rough sleeping and vagrancy” in the town and said he wanted police “to focus on dealing with this before the #RoyalWedding”. His remarks drew criticism from local homeless organisations and even Prime Minister Theresa May. 
 
"They shouldn’t really hide the fact that there are homeless people here," Davis said. "They should help us." 
 
Homelessness has become a high-profile political issue in recent months, with official figures showing that there were 4,134 rough sleepers counted on a single night in England in autumn 2016, an increase of 134 percent since 2010 when there were fewer than 1,800. 
 
The government has set a target of halving rough sleeping by 2022 and abolishing it by 2027, with May promising to spend 500 million pounds on tackling homelessness.

Other rough sleepers in Windsor said they feared that the authorities would clear them from the town`s streets before the wedding on Saturday - in stark contrast to the welcome that the royal fans, nestled down beneath swathes of fluttering red, white and blue bunting, had received. 
 
Thames Valley Police, the local force in charge of the wedding security, they were working closely with the council and local services to “offer support” to the homeless in Windsor. 
 
"A scheme has been set up for those who choose, to store their belongings at the Windsor Homeless Project during the Royal Wedding, and our officers have been assisting with transport of belongings, however this is entirely voluntary to ensure the safety of the homeless community," police said. 
 
The council said all those sleeping rough had been offered somewhere to stay or a place to house their belongings while the more than 100,000 visitors throng the streets of Windsor this weekend.&nbsp 
 
"We hope individuals will take up the offer to so that we can help prevent them from losing possessions on a day when the town will be extremely busy," the council said in a statement. &nbsp 
 
The superfans by the castle have been banned from erecting tents as part of tight security measures and they were sympathetic to the homeless living just a stone’s throw away from where they were camping. &nbsp &nbsp“Everybody needs a place to sleep,” said American Donna Werner, who had travelled 3,000 miles from New Fairfield, Connecticut, to camp by the castle for several days. &nbsp &nbsp"Everybody’s not as lucky as some of us ... Months before meeting the Queen for the first time and having a "cuppa" with her Majesty, Meghan Markle brushed up on tea drinking etiquette at a cottage near Los Angeles -- where she was apparently a natural.

"Well, she learned it all here," Edmund Fry, the British-born owner of Rose Tree Cottage in Pasadena, told AFP in an interview this week. "On a scale of one to 10, by the time she finished coming to us, I would say she would probably be a 9.5.

"But I have to say that because I want her to come back for the other half point."&nbsp

Fry said the California-born actress, who will marry Prince Harry this weekend, on several occasions visited the picturesque tea room -- decked out with all things British -- where she was given the inside track on tea drinking.

"She came with friends and was very relaxed and very much in control," he recalled.

"I do believe that I mentioned, as I always do, that the handle of the cup is always left at three o'clock of course ... and the spoon always needs to be left at six o'clock and 12 o'clock," said the 77-year-old, who dresses in tails and white gloves while serving and educating his customers.

He added that Markle seemed like a natural on her repeated visits and was unlikely to make any faux pas -- like slurping or using her napkin to blow her nose or wipe her glasses &nbsp-- while sipping tea with the Queen.

"I remember telling her one of the habits in this country is people tend to get much more palsy walsy with their cup ... and they move it in front of them," Fry said, raising his eyebrows in despair.&nbsp

"Maybe it's because they have a tendency to dribble, I'm not sure," he added.

"But this is not a good thing to do."

Another no-no he shared with Markle, he said, was changing the table setting.

"If you were at the palace, you wouldn't dream of moving the cutlery and the silver or the china away from the place where it should be," he said.

Traditional English scones served with tea should also be sliced sideways and topped with jam and clotted cream before each half is eaten separately, pleaded Fry, who looks like a character straight out of "Downton Abbey."

"You don't want to put the two halves together because it ends up looking like a quarter pound hamburger, and the last thing you want is people having cream come down their jowls," he said in his cut-glass British accent.&nbsp

And please, when drinking tea, refrain from slurping or clinking the cup with the spoon when stirring, he added.

As for crooking the little finger while holding the cup and saucer, Fry said that was optional.

"It's not wrong to have your finger in, but ladies tend to leave the pinky slightly crooked," he said.

Fry said he will be celebrating Harry and Meghan's nuptials on Saturday with a wedding party, and will always keep a table open for the newlyweds.

"She will always have a table here, and Harry of course," he said. "There will be the time when he wants real bacon and he'll come here for it."

Thomas Markle, a former Hollywood lighting director, now lives in retirement in Mexico. There had been a lot of media speculation if he would be part of the wedding ceremony as American actress Markle was known to be closer to her mother, who divorced her father in 1988.

Ragland, a yoga enthusiast, reportedly works at a non-profit mental health clinic and specialises in helping the geriatric community in the US.&nbsp

But the Kensington Palace has confirmed that they both will be an important part of the wedding party. The bride-to-be's parents will arrive a week before the wedding to meet senior royals, including Harry's grandparents -? Queen Elizabeth II and the Duke of Edinburgh.

They will also meet her fiance's father, Prince Charles, as well as Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, and the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Prince William and Kate Middleton.

The announcement comes soon after Thomas Markle Junior, Meghan's half-brother on her paternal side, wrote an open letter claiming his father was not invited to the wedding.

In the harshly-worded letter, he also warned Prince Harry that his half-sister was a "jaded, shallow, conceited woman" and marrying her was "the biggest mistake in royal wedding history".

In other details released by the Kensington Palace today said, the 36-year-old Markle will not have a maid of honour and all her bridesmaids as well as pageboys at the ceremony will be children.&nbsp

During the ceremony, Lady Jane Fellowes, the older sister of Harry's late mother Princess Diana, will give a reading as a representative of his mother's Spencer side of the family.

The location of the couple's honeymoon has not yet been revealed. However, the first royal engagement of the newly-weds will be the week after the wedding.

The Kensington Palace also released details of what members of the public can expect on the big day. Around 1,200 people have been invited into the grounds of Windsor Castle to participate in a large picnic as part of the wedding ceremony. The Windsor town centre will be decorated with bunting and ceremonial banners along parts of the route and there will be live entertainment, the palace said.

The couple will travel through the town in a carriage before arriving at St George's Chapel for the ceremony, to which 600 guests have been invited.

"After the service has concluded, the newly-married couple will proceed out of the church and acknowledge the 200 representatives of Prince Harry's charities gathered in the Cloister.

The final aspect of the wedding open to the public and live television coverage will be the new bride and groom departing Windsor Castle for the evening reception at nearby Frogmore House, located within the grounds of the Home Park in the town of Windsor.&nbsp

2018 has been an eventful day for the royals of Britain with Prince Harry announcing his engagement and then&nbsp;the wedding date with former American actress Meghan Markle to Duchess of Cambridge Kate announcing her third pregnancy.&nbsp;

A couple of days since Kate delivered a healthy baby boy, the Kensington Palace announced that the royal couple has named the royal baby Louis Arthur Charles.&nbsp;

In a statement, the palace said: “The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are delighted to announce that they have named their son Louis Arthur Charles.

“The baby will be known as His Royal Highness Prince Louis of Cambridge.”&nbsp;

Louis is William and Kate’s third child, the prince is the younger brother of Prince George and Princess Charlotte, and the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh’s sixth great-grandchild.

The royal baby was born on Monday and is fifth in line to the throne.
