Kohli&nbsp;has been fined INR 12 lakh after his team maintained a slow over-rate&nbsp;during their match <a href="https://www.wionews.com/sports/ipl-2019-virat-kohli-ab-de-villiers-guide-bangalore-to-eight-wicket-win-over-punjab-210202">against Punjab in Mohali</a>&nbsp;on Saturday.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;

It&nbsp;was Kohli's first offence of the season under the Indian Premier League's code of conduct relating to minimum over-rate offences.&nbsp;&nbsp;

In the match, Bangalore defeated Punjab by eight wickets to register their maiden win the ongoing season of IPL.&nbsp;

After winning the match, Virat Kohli said, "Most pleasing thing is coming for an interview at this time, and not immediately out of the field. Great feeling to get across the line."&nbsp;

"AB being AB, he is a big wicket for them. I think if we get him out pretty early, we stand a good chance of doing well in the game. So we have spoken about it -- about how we're going to try and get him out and hopefully it comes off tomorrow," de Kock told reporters on the eve of the match at Chinnaswamy stadium here.

"Otherwise, we just hope he (de Villiers) makes a mistake," he added.&nbsp;

Considering his team's loss to Delhi in Mumbai, de Kock said it will be a big game for Mumbai against Bangalore and they need a win to get going.&nbsp;

"Any big tournament around the world, everybody wants to get off to a good start. Coming into this game, knowing we haven't won a game, so it's a big game for us tomorrow. We need to get going with a win and hopefully build some momentum, get things rolling for our campaign this year," he said.

"There are people who have won the trophy three times. MS Dhoni and Rohit Sharma. So I think he has a long way to go. You cannot compare him to someone like Rohit or Dhoni at this stage," Gambhir said.&nbsp;

"He has been a part of RCB, and captaining RCB for the last seven to eight years, and he has been very lucky and should be thanking the franchise that they stuck with him. Because not many captains have got such a long rope where they haven't won a tournament," said Gambhir, who had to part ways with KKR in 2018 after seven long years and two titles.
