Allen, who was New Orleans' defensive coordinator under Sean Payton from 2015-2021, was appointed head coach in 2022.

During his tenure the Saints have gone 18-25 and failed to reach the playoffs.

Several key Saints players have missed time with injuries this season, including quarterback Derek Carr and wide receivers Rashid Shaheed and Chris Olave.

Pittsburgh's defense -- which sacked Watson six times throughout -- then came up with two more big stops in the closing stages to thwart Cleveland's hopes of snatching victory at the Steelers' Acrisure Stadium.

"We feed off the crowd, obviously there's a lot of things we need to correct, but we'll take tonight and celebrate," Watt said.

George Pickens scored Pittsburgh's other touchdown of the night, a 71-yard score from a pass by quarterback Kenny Pickett.

New Orleans Saints running back Alvin Kamara has agreed to a plea agreement on charges related to a case in Las Vegas during the Pro Bowl weekend in February 2022. “I am happy that we were able to get on the other side of this unfortunate incident, and I wish you the best for the future.”

The league, however, said that the Las Vegas incident remains under review, reported media outlet USA Today.

“We have been closely monitoring all developments in the matter, which remains under review,” NFL spokesman Brian McCarthy told the media outlet.

“Alvin is pleased that this matter is behind him and looks forward to a successful NFL season,” Kamara’s lawyers, David Chesnoff, Richard Schonfeld and Drew Findling, said in a statement to USA TODAY.

Kamara, a round three pick in 2017 NFL Draft, has been with the Saints for all this six-year career. His breakout year came in 2020 when he rushed for 932 yards in 187 attempts, scoring 16 touchdowns. Overall, he has 5,135 rushing yards to his name in 1,135 attempts with 49 touchdowns.

Moreau's treatment required six to eight hours of a drip infusion for one day nearly six weeks ago. The infusion was followed by many weeks of medication which was either ingested or injected into his stomach area, said the TE as reported by the Associated Press.

The treatment ended one day before he signed a three-year, $12 million deal with the Saints - his hometown as well.

The fourth-round pick in the 2020 NFL draft was picked up by the Raiders while they were based out of Oakland. He played a total of 61 games for the Raiders (both Oakland and Las Vegas) and has 1,017 yards in 91 receptions. He averages 12.2 yards per carry along with 12 career touchdowns. His best NFL season came last year when he racked up 420 yards in 33 carries during 15 games. He averaged 12.7 yards per carry along with two touchdowns.

The TE became a free agent after last season and was at the Saints facility for a physical checkup during which Dr&nbsp;Moss discovered an enlarged lymph in his left clavicle. The lymph, upon further testing, was found to be cancer.

NFL: New Orleans Saints tight end Foster Moreau announces 'full remission' from cancer

Derek Carr has agreed to join the New Orleans Saints, announced the team on Monday. The former Las Vegas Raiders QB, who declined to waive his no-trade clause, will join the Saints in a four-year deal.

The money involved in the deal has not been revealed yet but according to ESPN, Carr could potentially get up to $150 million with around $100 million in guarantees.

The deal comes after Carr visited New Orleans and met with the members of the franchise during his two-day trip in early February. The QB met with the team representatives again at the recently concluded NFL combine in Indianapolis.

The 31-year-old had also been in talks with two other teams, that is, the New York Jets and Carolina Panthers, before coming to terms with the Saints.

A grand jury in a justice court in Las Vegas, Nevada has indicted New Orleans Saints running back Alvin Kamara and Cincinnati Bengals cornerback Chris Lammons along with two other men for allegedly assaulting a man on February 5, 2022 on the eve of the Pro Bowl. All four men have been officially charged on grounds of conspiracy to commit battery and battery resulting in substantial bodily harm to Darnell Greene Jr. at a Las Vegas nightclub. The Saints RB's attorney have said in a statement that Kamara has all the intention to contest the charges. The indictment also means that the case will now move to district court on March 2.

"The State has avoided a contested preliminary hearing by indicting Mr. Kamara. He intends to vigorously fight the allegations at trial as he was defending himself and others at the time of the incident," the statement &nbsp;by Kamara's attorneys said.

The National Football League (NFL), however, did not punish Kamara for the alleged crime despite the hearing of the case happening several times over the last year. It also means that any potential suspension of Kamara has been pushed into the 2023 season or beyond, depending on the outcome of the case.&nbsp;

Greene, the alleged victim, filed the case against Kamara in October and the suit alleges that the RB and three others beat Greene and stomped on him when he on the floor unconscious outside a Las Vegas nightclub. The victim's lawsuit asks for a jury trail and no less then $10 million in damages.

Alvin Kamara, meanwhile, had a good season with the Saints in 2023. The 27-year-old RB rushed for 897 yards and two touchdowns in 15 games. The five-time Pro Bowler also caught 57 passes for 490 yards and two TDs. Lammons, meanwhile, was recently claimed off waivers by the Bengals.
