<p>Bennett said that Israel was engaged in a battle against "Nazis" and affirmed his refusal to provide electricity and water to the enemy. He said that Israel is not targeting innocent Palestinians and explained that whenever there is a Hamas infrastructure Israel asks civilians to evacuate that place before striking.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Bennett made his position clear, stating, "The world can come and bring them anything they want. I am not going to feed electricity or water to my enemies. We are not responsible for this."</p>

Israel PM Bennett not to run in next election

<p>Accusing Iran of repeatedly targeting Israeli interests, Prime Minister Naftali Bennett has said that Tehran will be punished for instigating attacks through its proxies.</p>

<p>According to Bennet, "For decades, the Iranian regime has practiced terrorism against Israel and the region by means of proxies, emissaries, but the head of the octopus, Iran itself, has enjoyed immunity."</p>

<p>"As we have said before, the era of the Iranian regime's immunity is over. Those who finance terrorists, those who are terrorists, and those who send terrorists will pay the full price," he added.</p>

<p>His statement comes a week after the assassination in Tehran of Revolutionary Guards colonel, Hassan Sayyad Khodai, which has been blamed on Israel.</p>

<p>Khodai, who was called "defender of the shrines," had been shot dead at the wheel of his car by two people on a motorcycle, and had been accused by Israel of plotting attacks against its citizens worldwide.</p>

<p>Iran had claimed that Israel's Mossad had carried out the attack as the modus operandi of the killing matched its previous targets.</p>

<p>After Khodai was shot, the Revolutionary Guards arrested members of an Israeli intelligence service network they believed carried&nbsp;out sabotage and attacks in Iran.</p>

<p>Khodai's killing dubbed an "assassination" by Iran, was the most high profile inside Iran since that of top nuclear scientist Mohsen Fakhrizadeh in November 2020.</p>

<p>Iran has denounced the killings of at least six Iranian scientists and academics who have been killed or attacked since 2010 by agents of the United States and its allies.</p>

<p>The attacks are believed to have targeted Iran’s nuclear programme which the West says is aimed at producing a bomb but Tehran has denied the allegation saying the programme has peaceful purposes.</p>

<p>As the festivities come to a close, children are preparing to go back to school on Tuesday.&nbsp;</p>

<p>But the government has said they will need to get tested if they are to be allowed back in.</p>

<p>Since Omicron was discovered in Israel, the government has again closed its borders to tourists, tightened quarantine rules for returning Israelis, encouraged kids to get vaccinated, and temporarily approved phone tracking of suspected carriers, which has now been suspended.</p>

<p>Israel has reported 4 more Omicron infections, bringing its total to 11 known cases. Of these, 7 were vaccinated. The new cases include a man who came into contact with an infected person who had recently travelled from South Africa. This is the first known case of Omicron being transmitted within Israel.</p>

Everything is according to the data….Some people are saying: ‘But the situation is so good in the country, why are you being so stringent?’ The reason that the situation is good in the country is that we are taking quick and precise action. We know to relax the restrictions when necessary and when to tighten them,” he said.</p>
