<p>Liverpool's Mohamed Salah admitted it would be "a dream" to cap a sensational debut season at Anfield by ending Real Madrid's European reign in Saturday's Champions League final.</p>

<p>However, Salah says he would be happy if Roberto Firmino or Sadio Mane grabs the goal that takes the Reds to a sixth European crown.</p>

<p>Salah has won a series of individual prizes as he has contributed 44 of the 90 goals Liverpool's front three have scored this season.</p>

<p>But the goals have been far more evenly spread in the Champions League.</p>

<p>"It doesn't matter who scores," Salah told UEFA.com.</p>

<p>"Winning games, getting points, that's the most important thing for us because as you can see, I've scored ten goals in the Champions League, Sadio nine, Firmino ten, so all of us are the same.</p>

<p>"None of us is selfish or only wants to score. We try to help each other to score goals."</p>

<p>The Egyptian, who had a disappointing spell at Chelsea, has been a revelation since his return to England last summer from Roma.</p>

<p>His form has led to Saturday's clash in Kiev being billed as a Ballon d'Or decider against five-time World Player of the Year Cristiano Ronaldo.</p>

<p>As the finals of UEFA Champions League coincides with the holy month of Ramadan, it was rumoured that Mohamed Salah will keep the fast but under Islamic teachings, it is permissible to break your fast with anything that is adequate need or if you are travelling during the day.</p>

<p>Also, Manager Jurgen Klopp gave his opinion and said, "Religion is private, how I understand it."</p>

<p>He further added, "Nothing to say about that but all fine you will see him out there. In training he is full of power - you need to be the day before a final."</p>

<p>Former Liverpool manager Rafa Benitez believes the current side's devastating attacking trio marks them out as a superior unit to the one he guided to a famous 2005 Champions League triumph in Istanbul.</p>

<p>Forwards Mohamed Salah, Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane have plundered 29 goals between them in Europe's elite club competition this season heading into Saturday's final against Real Madrid in Kiev.</p>

<p>"We achieved what we achieved, they talk about the 'Miracle of Istanbul' but this team is better," Benitez, who led the team to a fifth European crown in Turkey when they rallied from 3-0 down at halftime to win on penalties, told British media.</p>

<p>That Liverpool squad was hardly short of quality with the likes of Steven Gerrard, Xabi Alonso and Dietmar Hamann pulling the strings in midfield, but Benitez said Juergen Klopp's side had more players capable of settling a contest on their own.</p>

<p>"We had Stevie, of course, also some players with experience and quality... we had players who worked very hard, we had a good balance," Newcastle United boss Benitez, who also had a stint at Real Madrid, added.</p>

<p>"This team also has good balance, but the front three can make a difference on their own. We had one player who maybe could make a difference on his own, and here they have three.</p>

<p>Former Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho is not surprised by Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah's exploits in the current campaign and said the decision to sell the Egyptian to Roma in 2016 was made by the Premier League club.</p>

<p>Salah joined Chelsea under Mourinho in 2014 but failed to establish himself at Stamford Bride and was loaned out to Fiorentina and Roma before a permanent move to the Stadio Olimpico outfit in 2016.</p>

<p>The 25-year-old returned to England league with Liverpool this season and has excelled, scoring 31 goals in 33 matches to win the Professional Footballers' Association's Player of the Year award.</p>

<p>"People say that I was the one that sold Salah and it is the opposite," Mourinho, who currently manages Manchester United, told ESPN.</p>

<p>"I was the one that bought Salah. I was the one that told Chelsea to buy Salah... But he came as a young kid, physically he was not ready, mentally he was not ready, socially and culturally he was lost and everything was tough for him.</p>

<p>"Chelsea decided to sell him, OK? ... So the decision to send him on loan was a decision we made collectively, but after that, the decision to sell him and to use that money to buy another player wasn't mine... "</p>

<p>Salah has scored 43 goals across all competitions this season and is in contention to win the European Golden Boot.</p>

<p>"I think everything has surprised even him. It has been fantastic," Mourinho added.</p>

<p>"But he is a great player that has reached the peak of maturity, he has already lived several other experiences and now has fitted perfectly into the style of play of the team, of the coach and of the club as well..."</p>

<p>Liverpool are currently third in the league and in prime position to reach the Champions League final, after a 5-2 win in the first leg of their semi-final against Roma.</p>
