As Liam Hemsworth files for divorce, Miley Cyrus 'disappointed'

It's been just a few days since Miley Cyrus announced her separation from husband Liam Hemsworth and now the singer has released a new single titled 'Slide Away' where she has seemingly brought out the emotions she has been going through.

The 26-year old singer`s latest release seems like her take on her relationship with Hemsworth as the starting lyrics goes like "Once upon it was paradise, once upon a time I was paralyzed / I think I`m gonna miss these harbor lights / But it`s time to let it go."

Cyrus somehow poured her heart out in the song as she continues singing "Move on, we`re not 17 / I`m not who I used to be. You said that everything changed / You`re right I`m grown now."

Prior to the release of `Slide Away`, she last dropped her single `Mother`s Daughter` earlier in July.

The music video of the song celebrated sexuality, diversity, and pride which also featured her mother Tish Cyrus. Apart from the song, the `When I Look at You` single had been in headlines lately after she parted ways with Hemsworth.

And just after their split, pictures of her kissing longtime friend Kaitlynn Carter were shared on social media.

The couple, as they announced their split, also released a joint statement which read, "they have decided this is what`s best while they both focus on themselves and careers."

Recently a source also revealed that their break-up took an ugly turn with drug use and infidelity accusations. According to Fox News, insiders from both celebrities have made this claim just a few days after their split was confirmed.

Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth`s break up took an ugly turn with drug use and infidelity accusations.

According to Fox News, insiders from both celebrities have made this claim just a few days after their split was confirmed.TMZ reported that Cyrus struggled "valiantly" to save her seven-month-old marriage with Hemsworth, but battled to accept his heavy drinking and "use of certain drugs" habit.

However, a source from Hemsworth`s camp told TMZ that the drug allegations are "bulls--t" - and their romance came to an end due to Cyrus` infidelity.

They also denied claims that the 29-year-old actor broke up with his wife months earlier with Cyrus hitting the headlines after being spotted kissing Brody Jenner`s ex Kaitlynn Carter.

Miley Cyrus, Liam Hemsworth split gets ugly with drug, cheating allegations

Sorry Liam Hemsworth! While American singer Lizzo is down for dating a Hemsworth brother, it looks like she is more interested in his other family members rather than him.

The 31-year-old singer explained why she isn`t interested in "messing with Miley`s man", on Tuesday`s episode of the Australian show `The Project`, reported E! News.

The topic came up while discussing the star`s relationship status and love life. After questioning the singer on her "evil Gemini" ex, host Carrie Bickmore said that there are "a lot of great Geminis Down Under."

"All right! Turn up! I`m ready. I`m going to find a Hemsworth cousin. I`m going to find the Hemsworth younger brother and see what`s up," Lizzo said.

Bickmore then reminded Lizzo that Liam is now a single man following his separation from wife Miley Cyrus. But Lizzo made it clear she`s "not messing with Miley`s man."

"I need my own Hemsworth," she said.

News of Liam and Miley Cyrus` split broke on Sunday. While the two have remained tight-lipped about their separation, Liam released a note to his fans yesterday on Instagram."Hi all. Just a quick note to say that Miley and I have recently separated and I wish her nothing but health and happiness going forward. This is a private matter and I have not made, nor will I be making, any comments to any journalists or media outlets. Any reported quotes attributed to me are false. Peace and Love," he wrote.

Liam has two brothers, Chris Hemsworth and Luke Hemsworth, both are older and already married, so hopefully, a Hemsworth relative comes through for the `Truth Hurts` singer.

Miley and Liam first met in 2009 on the sets of `The Last Song`. They began dating shortly after that and made their red carpet debut as a couple in 2010. They`ve had some bumps in their romance over the years. The two were dating on and off before Liam proposed in 2012. They called off their engagement a year later and reconciled their relationship in 2015.

They officially tied the knot in December 2018.

A few months back, photos of Priyanka Chopra dancing with Liam Hemsworth and Rebel Wilson on the streets of New York for the film ‘Isn’t It Romantic’. Fans back in India were excited to see Priyanka and Liam in the same frame. Turns out the film does not pair the two of them.

The trailer of the comedy ‘Isn’t It Romantic’ is out and it centers around actress Rebel Wilson. The hilarious parody on rom-coms has Wilson playing a lifelong cynic who scoffs at rom-coms for being too pretty and perfect until her life transforms into one.

A chance encounter with a mugger and an accident later Wilson’s character Natalie realises that her life is straight out of a rom-com itself. The film hilariously then parodies all such films and pairs up Wilson opposite Liam Hemsworth.

While the trailer is quite funny, it barely shows our ‘Desi girl’. Priyanka appears briefly at the end of the trailer. According to the Youtube description, Priyanka plays a yoga ambassador Isabella.
