Recent events involving the health of Kate Middleton and King Charles III have brought attention to ancient prophecies made by a famous seer named Nostradamus. He predicted tough times for the monarchy in 2024, including a king stepping down and someone unexpected taking over. King Charles is sick with cancer, and people wonder if he might give up his throne. Nostradamus also talked about a "King of the Isles" being removed and replaced by a different kind of leader.

People are curious if Nostradamus' predictions might be coming true. Meanwhile, a modern-day seer named Athos Salome has also made predictions about Kate Middleton's health. Kate has revealed she has cancer after having surgery for another health issue. Athos Salome thinks Kate will have more health problems with her bones and joints in the future, but he also thinks her biggest challenge will be her role in the royal family.

Putting a full stop to all the theories regarding her public absence, Princess of Wales Kate Middleton on Friday (March 22), revealed that she has been diagnosed with cancer, and is currently under treatment for the same.

Soon after Kate made the big revelation, Hollywood actress Blake Lively came forward with an apology after she made fun of Kate's Mother's Day photoshop gaffe.

Soon after the news of Kate battling cancer was revealed, Blake shared a public apology on her post. “I’m sure no one cares today but I feel like I have to acknowledge this,” she wrote on her Instagram Stories. “I made a silly post around the ‘photoshop fails’ frenzy, and oh man, that post has me mortified today.”

The 36-year-old star concluded her message, “I’m sorry. Sending love and well wishes to all, always. ❤️.”

Why did Blake Lively make a public apology?

On the UK's Mother's Day, Kate Middleton shared a photo showing her posing with her three kids: George (10), Charlotte (8) and Louis (5). Soon after the photo was shared amid speculation about her public absence, it was found out that the first photo released after her abdominal surgery was a doctored image.

Why Blake Lively is apologising after Kate Middleton’s cancer diagnosis

In a video released by Kensington Palace, Kate Middleton, the Princess of Wales, revealed that she has been undergoing preventative chemotherapy after being diagnosed with cancer. The princess explained that the diagnosis came after a major abdominal surgery in January, initially thought to be for a non-cancerous condition.

Kate's medical team advised her to undergo a course of preventative chemotherapy after tests following the surgery revealed the presence of cancer. She began the treatment in late February and is currently in the early stages of the treatment.

The Duchess did not disclose the type or stage of her cancer but emphasised the importance of the treatment for her health. She expressed gratitude for the care she has received and the support of her family, including her husband Prince William and their three children.

What is preventative chemotherapy?

Doctors explain that preventative chemotherapy, also known as adjuvant chemotherapy, is a standard treatment for many types of cancer. It involves using chemotherapy drugs to kill any remaining cancer cells that may have been missed during surgery and to destroy any cells that may have spread to other parts of the body.

The decision to start adjuvant chemotherapy is based on several factors, including the stage of the cancer and the risk of recurrence. Studies have shown that this treatment can significantly reduce the risk of cancer coming back, particularly for later-stage cancers.

How is it different from regular chemotherapy?

While adjuvant chemotherapy uses the same drugs as those used to treat more advanced cancers, the duration and intensity of the treatment may differ. Patients receiving adjuvant chemotherapy may only need short courses compared to those receiving treatment for more serious diseases.

Most courses of adjuvant chemotherapy last at least three months and are delivered via infusion at a hospital or facility. The goal of this treatment is to prevent recurrence and allow patients to live a full and productive life.

The person who captured Kate Middleton's first public outing since her abdominal surgery has slammed the various conspiracy theories that are doing the rounds around the video.

Nelson Silva spoke to UK tabloid The Sun about the recent video which captured Kate Middleton and her husband Prince William's visit to Windsor Farm Shop on March 16. The video went viral almost immediately but once again sparked speculation on whether the video was doctored or not.

"I’m not so much shocked that these comments have continued, I’m just confused how exactly they can continue," Nelson told the outlet. "This is a video clearly showing her and William. I saw them with my own eyes. It was a completely relaxed situation."

He stated that anyone questioning if that was Kate in the video is "delusional."

"What more do you need to lay off her? I thought after this was released they’d go quiet. But these people are so invested in the drama now," he continued. "They’ve put so much time and energy into these rumours and lies that they can’t pull the plug."

Silva is not a paparazzi but an engineer who lives with his family near the area and was shopping for a steak when he spotted Kate and William.

He said the couple appeared "relaxed and happy."

"I had about 40 minutes to kill and decided to get some produce. I went into the shop and at first I noticed their figures, they were standing near the bread," Silva explained.

Nelson revealed he was behind the royal couple when shopping and saw Kate and William talking to the farm shop staff.

Silva said, "I couldn’t hear what they were saying, but the staff seemed overwhelmed. When I went to pay for my produce, the girl at the counter was so shocked she was hardly breathing."

As Silva left the Windsor Farm Shop, he decided to take a video of Prince William and Kate to send to his family in Portugal.

"I started to record as they walked towards the car park. They just looked very happy and relaxed together. William was obviously protective of Kate, and I quickly stopped recording because I didn’t want to make them uncomfortable," he explained.

He revealed his initial plan was to share the footage of the royal couple with only the family but then later decided to share it with certain publications to end rumours around Kate Middleton.

"It shows she (Kate) is OK and getting better," Silva said of the video. "To be honest, recording the video was totally out of my comfort zone but it was only for my family at the time."

He added, "I’m still not comfortable in the spotlight. But I realised that this video of two people happy and shopping could help make all these rumours fall flat."

Kim Kardashian called ‘distasteful’ for making a joke about Kate Middleton

The Kensington Palace is not considered as a trusted source anymore according to a leading photo agency. The Palace has been facing a lot of flack ever since it released an edited photo of Princess Kate Middleton and her three children on the occasion of Mother's Day.

"Like with anything, when you're let down by a source, the bar is raised," Phil Chetwynd, global news director of AFP, explained on an episode of the BBC's The Media Show.

Middleton has remained out of the public eye since December 25. Buckingham Palace reported that the Princess of Wales had been admitted to the hospital for a planned abdominal surgery on January 17. Speculations and concerns over her well-being have just been growing on social media ever since. Kate has appeared in public only once post surgery.

The doctored image of her with her children was released on Mother's Day amid speculations about her absence.

The picture quickly became news as it was likely intended to quell speculation over the princess's whereabouts.

Earlier this month, a spokesperson for Kensington Palace told Fox News Digital," Kensington Palace made it clear in January the timelines of the Princess’ recovery, and we’d only be providing significant updates. The guidance in January stands that the Princess would be recuperating at home in Windsor." The spokesperson emphasised Middleton was "doing well."

However, the edited image only fueled speculation about her whereabouts and health.

A day later, Kate apologised and admitted that the image shared online had been edited. "Like many amateur photographers, I do occasionally experiment with editing," she wrote on social media.

"I wanted to express my apologies for any confusion the family photograph we shared yesterday caused."

"We don't have anything to add," the palace confirmed when asked for comments about the digitally altered photo.

Soon after Middleton's admission, Instagram put an "altered photo" label on the post. The account has 15.2 million followers.

"Independent fact-checkers say the photo or image has been edited in a way that could mislead people, but not because it was shown out of context," the warning read.

Kensignton Palace a trusted source?

Before Middleton's Photoshop error, AFP's Chetwynd said that the agency considered Kensington Palace as a "trusted source."

"So, in the case of the Palace or Kensington Palace, these are … people that we work with all the time," he explained.

"They would (be a trusted source), because we've worked with them repeatedly and because usually it would be our own photographer doing stories with them," Chetwynd added

Is Kate Middleton’s recent snap inside the car doctored? Photographer responds

Kate Middleton Mystery: Where is the Princess since surgery in January 2024?

Royal fans have raised suspicions about a recent family portrait shared by Kensington Palace on Instagram, suggesting that an old Vogue cover from 2016 featuring Kate Middleton could have been used to edit the image. The controversy arose after the Associated Press and other news agencies confirmed that the photo had been edited, leading to a retraction of the image.

On Sunday, AP announced that they would be retracting the image, stating, "At closer inspection, it appears that the source has manipulated the image."

Kate Middleton addressed the issue on her Instagram Stories, where she shared a statement expressing her apologies for any confusion caused by the family photograph. She explained, "Like many amateur photographers, I do occasionally experiment with editing. I wanted to express my apologies for any confusion with the family photograph we shared yesterday caused."

Ruby Naldrett, from the UK newspaper the Daily Mirror, shared her theory on social media, suggesting that the 2016 Vogue cover image was used in the family portrait. She wrote, "My analysis of the Kate Middleton photo saga is that they took her face from the Vogue cover she did years ago and edited it in," alongside comparisons.

While some users agreed with Ruby's theory, others were less convinced. Some defended Kate, pointing out that it's common for a person's face to look similar in different photos.

TJ Thomson, a visual media and communication expert at RMIT University, shared his analysis with Yahoo Lifestyle, stating that while there are similarities between the Vogue cover and the family portrait, it's not an exact match.

"I overlaid the Vogue cover on top of the Instagram image and think there are some similarities, but it's not, in my estimation, an exact match. Perhaps something like an 80-90 per cent overlap?" Thomson said.

He suggested that the portrait may have been slightly edited. "It's probably more or less real, there could be a little bit of airbrushing, a little bit of smoothing, teeth whitening — that kind of thing, I think the basic components probably are accurate. But it's just a matter of if they are all accurate at the same point in time, at that same location that the photo is claiming it is," Thomson stated.
