Following this, blackout has been observed in Jammu across several regions including RS Pura, Rajouri, Srinagar and Kathua.
Earlier, &nbsp;DC Amritsar announced that a blackout will be implemented after a siren as part of a "precaution".&nbsp;
"A siren will sound shortly and thereafter we shall implement the blackout. This is by way of abundant precaution. Please stay indoors and away from windows. Please don't panic," DC Amritsar stated.&nbsp;
However now, blackout has been oserved after the siren sound.&nbsp;

Explosions were heard in the Samba sector of Jammu as India&rsquo;s air defence intercepted Pakistani drones during a complete blackout in the region. One Pakistani drone hit a residential area in Ferozepur and injured a family. Three injured family members were rushed to the hospital for treatment.
A drone attack was reported near the Srinagar airport on Friday, where all countermeasures were activated.

The Indian Army's Lt Gen MV Suchindra Kumar, GOC-IN-C Northern said that they are making all the efforts and concentrating on breaking the cycle of violence and dismantling the terror ecosystem in the Indian Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.
