We would be using AI amalgamated with the CCTV system,"&nbsp;Additional DGP, Odisha, Dayal Gangwar was quoted as saying by news agency <em>ANI</em>.</p>

<p>"We would also be using a drone system to identify the blind spots, identify the jam areas. We are also using drones along with the PA (Public address) system so that there are 4-5 identified spots every year where we normally face huge traffic jams and to help assist the police officers," he added.&nbsp;</p>

<p>According to&nbsp;Puri Superintendent of Police (SP) Pinak Mishra, as many as&nbsp;180 platoons (one platoon comprises 30 personnel) of security forces from both the state and central governments have been pressed into service to manage law and order.&nbsp;</p>

<p>However, on Monday morning the Centre moved the SC to take back its decision and allow the procession with few restrictions.</p>

<p>The procession will now take place on Tuesday, June 23, but without the attendance of the general public.</p>

<p>While the procession has been allowed, the SC has made it clear that the court still holds the right to cancel/stop the procession at any given point if the court feels that rules are not being followed and/or the procession is getting out of hands.</p>

<p>The Puri district will have a curfew starting from 9 pm today and will continue till Wednesday 2pm.</p>

<p>"People should not be allowed to participate in the Rath Yatra and the temple area should be barricaded around 3 kilometres. Odisha government has already conducted COVID-19 tests on 1,172 sevayats, which have come negative," said&nbsp;petitioner's lawyer Pranay Kumar Mohapatra.</p>

<p>The procession will be conducted by almost 1,600&nbsp;sevayats, who have already tested negative for coronavirus.</p>

<p>Home Minister Amit Shah, Gujarat Chief minister Vijay Rupani and Deputy Chief Minister Nitinbhai Patel offered prayers at the Jagannath Temple in Ahmedabad.</p>

<p>In the Rath Yatra, three chariots for the deities- Lord Balabhadra, Lord Jagannatha and Devi Subhadra are constructed every year. These sacred carriers are prepared, decorated and assembled by the traditional artists.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The craftsmen follow strict rules to participate as servitors in preparing the chariots, which commence on the day of Akshay Tritiya.</p>

<p>Thousands of handcrafters work for several months and prepare everything from scratch. Starting from cutting the wood to painting it and putting different parts of Rath together, everything is done with complete authenticity.</p>

<p>The prime attractions of the Rath Yatra of Jagannatha are the elaborate chariots. The decorative wooden idols of the three deities are pulled and accompanied by chants and conches, which can be heard all around.</p>
