<p>Famed for his swashbuckling batting, Pant is expected to be the second wicketkeeper in India's World Cup squad, behind Mahendra Singh Dhoni, after impressing across all three formats.</p>

<p>Pant smashed a blistering 78 not out of 27 balls in an Indian Premier League match against Mumbai Indians last month but the former aggressive opener advised the Delhi Capitals player to shun risks early in his knock.</p>

<p>"I firmly believe that he is one cricketer in India who could win his side - be it Delhi Capitals or Indian teams - games from hopeless situations," Srikkanth wrote in a column in Friday's Times of India newspaper.</p>

<p>"This kid has it in him but from my observation I feel that he doesn't give himself enough time to showcase his talent in the middle."</p>

<p>Chennai's pacer Deepak Chahar has created the record for bowling the most dot balls in the history of Indian Premier League <a href="https://www.wionews.com/sports/ipl-2019-chennai-maintain-unbeaten-run-at-home-with-emphatic-win-over-kolkata-209152">against Dinesh Karthik-led Kolkata</a> on Tuesday.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The impressive bowling unit of Chennai team helped the MS Dhoni-led side register a comfortable seven-wicket win over Kolkata at the MA Chidambaram Stadium.&nbsp;</p>

<p>With this win, Chennai goes to the top of the league standings. Out of the six matches played, the team has been able to record wins in five matches.</p>

<p>The under-rated Deepak Chahar, who returned with impressive figures of three for 20 from four overs, rattled the Kolkata top-order with early strikes, including that of the big-hitting Chris Lynn as the visitors struggled to 29 for four in the powerplay. &nbsp;</p>

<p>Amid Indian Premier League's tight schedule, Chennai's skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni and his wife Sakhi Dhoni were found sleeping on the floor&nbsp;of an airport.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Kolkata's Russell has been in a sensational form in the ongoing edition of <a href="https://www.wionews.com/ipl-2019">Indian Premier League</a> with his incredible power-hitting ability that helped his side win matches.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Russell so far has scored 257 runs in 121 balls he faced and his average his 128.50 also, he is the only batsman with a 200+ strike rate in IPL 2019. &nbsp;</p>

<p>Williamson's return can prove to a blessing in disguise for the team, as Hydebarad&nbsp;have been struggling with middle-order batting issues in this year's edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL).</p>

<p>The team lost back to back matches against Mumbai and Punjab, and the loss was a result of poor batting performance.</p>

<p>While the openers, David Warner and Jonny Bairstow have been in tremendous form in the tournament, the middle-order batsmen have failed to rise to the occasion.</p>

<p>Meanwhile, the addition of Khaleel will give bowling depth to SRH, as they have been struggling with poor bowling in the death overs.</p>
