<p>As per CBS News, veterinarians suspected a severe neurological issue and suggested euthanasia after other treatments failed and extensive tests were quoted at $12,000.</p>

<p>"Honestly, I mean, after I talked to them is really when I felt, you know, that I was going to be doing the right thing by putting him down," she said.&nbsp;</p>

<p>In March 2023, following sleepless nights and consultations with Lost Dog &amp; Cat Rescue staff, Pereira took Beau to Montgomery County Animal Services and paid $15 for euthanasia.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"They really gave me that support and that encouragement that, although it's hard, sometimes that's the best thing to do," said Pereira.</p>

<p>She was not allowed to stay with him during the process.</p>

<p>The rescue treated a liver problem with a $7,000 surgery funded through GoFundMe.&nbsp;An elated Pereira has offered to pay the $7,000 to get Beau back.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"I have a lot of questions, but first and foremost, I want him back with me," she told The Associated Press on Friday (May 24).</p>

<p>However, she has been met with rude responses from the rescue, which accused her of abandoning the dog and refused to return him.&nbsp;</p>

<p>A week ago, a Palestinian American family in Maple Grove, Minnesota in the US, learned that they had lost 42 members of their family to the war.</p>

<h2><strong>Coming to terms&nbsp;</strong></h2>

<p>Tariq Hamouda and his wife&nbsp;still cannot fully comprehend that they've lost three generations of their family.&nbsp;Talking to CNN, Hamouda said that his wife, whose maiden name is Saqallah, lost four brothers, a sister, and their many children in what they claim were Israeli airstrikes. The explosions, as per the family, destroyed the Saqallah family compound in the Sheikh Ejleen neighbourhood of Gaza City on October 19.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"Up until last night, she is still denying (the loss)," said Hamouda.</p>

<p>He told CNN that of the 42 family members they lost, the youngest was aged just three months, and the oldest was around 77 years. Among the deceased were medical professionals, including eye and ENT doctors who operated Gaza's prominent family-owned eye clinics.</p>

<h2><strong>No warning given</strong></h2>

<p>As per Tariq Hamouda, before the strikes, the family received calls warning of military activity in the area, but they were not asked to evacuate.</p>

<p>"They have bombed houses with warnings and without warnings," he said, deploring the fear, and confusion faced by Palestinians.</p>

<p>Hamouda revealed that his mother-in-law, who was standing on the balcony when the first strike happened, managed to escape.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The Palestinian-American man said that a second strike obliterated the family house, killing dozens inside.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Hamouda and his family insist that the affected family members had no involvement in any militant activities and that they "had nothing to do with anything at all."</p>

<p>Abu Shaban underlined that their family consisted of ordinary civilians.</p>

<p>"We have no Hamas members [in our family]. They're just ordinary people: doctors and grandmothers and grandfathers and uncles and aunts and children," he lamented, adding, "I mean, if you want to exterminate Hamas then you should go to the source."</p>

<p>The genius child, Adhara Pérez Sánchez, has an IQ that beats Albert Einstein — whose IQ is estimated to be around 160.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Adhara finished her High School education at the very young age of seven. Mirror UK reports that the genius girl will soon be awarded a masters and is currently working with the Mexican Space Agency. She is helping the space agency promote space exploration among the younger generations.</p>

<p>Her disciplines for the masters are also nothing short of impressive. She did a degree in systems and industrial engineering with a specialisation in mathematics from the Technological University of Mexico. These technical credentials at a very young&nbsp;make her stand out from everyone else her age.</p>

<p>When she was three years old, Adhara was diagnosed with a developmental disability after her speech significantly regressed.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"The teachers were not very empathetic, they told me that I wish she would finish an assignment - she began to exclude herself, she did not want to play with her classmates, she felt strange, different."</p>

<p>What's more, last year the University of Arizona even offered the future space explorer a scholarship to study astrophysics. However, due to visa complications, she had to defer.</p>

<p>"As our drone hovered overhead we immediately recognized that this whale had been struck by a vessel due to the unnatural ‘S’ bend in the spine from the dorsal fin to her fluke," said the organisation, adding "In her current condition, she will not survive to make the return journey."</p>

Humpback whales have a " tradition of migrating between feeding and breeding grounds". She was most probably born in Hawaii which is a breeding ground for whales like her.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The senior citizen has petitioned the collector to help him out in converting the demonetized currency (consisting of Rs1000 and 500 notes) into legal tender.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The issue came to light after pictures and videos of the visually challenged person holding a wad of invalid currency notes were widely shared on social media.&nbsp;</p>
