<p>The <a href="https://docs.wfp.org/api/documents/WFP-0000154766/download/?_ga=2.132884044.396164872.1702292083-252791030.1702292083">report </a>stated that "42 per cent of the households in the Northern governorates&nbsp;(Gaza and North Gaza) and 35 per cent of households in the Southern governorates (Deir Al Balah, Khan Younis and Rafah) reported knowing of people who were compelled to consume wild or raw food to cope with hunger".</p>

<p>The food scarcity situation is significantly worse in the north than in the south, according to the report. The aid is concentrated in the south of the strip where it is received through the border with Egypt at the Rafah crossing. However, since the second truce deal expired on December 1 and the fight intensified, the aid delivery has slowed down significantly.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The acute shortage of cooking gas has also led to heavy dependence on less clean sources such as firewood, wood residues, and waste burning, raising the risk of respiratory diseases.</p>

<p>Additionaly, the people in north Gaza have only 1.8 litre of clean water per person/per day while the volume comes down to 1.5 litre per person/per day in south Gaza.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Released after 54 days in captivity by Hamas last month, 21-year-old Mia&nbsp;Schem has got a new tattoo that reads, "We will dance again", as a sign of defiance against the terror outfit.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Taking to her Instagram handle,&nbsp;Schem posted a picture of the tattoo with the date 7.10.23 below it, referring to when she was abducted by Hamas members.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"7.10.23 I will never forget. The pain and the fear, the difficult sights, the friends that will not come back and the ones we must get back," she captioned the post as saying.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"But we will&nbsp;win. We will dance again!" she added.&nbsp;</p>

<p>As of the last update, Schem's post had garnered over 200,000 likes and thousands of comments with the majority showing solidarity with her and Israel.&nbsp;</p>

<p>There will still be a manger scene located in the sanctuary of the Evangelical Lutheran Christmas Church in Bethlehem. However, instead of the traditional baby Jesus surrounded by adoring parents, shepherds, wise men, angels and animals, it will showcase a swaddled doll lying among the shattered ruins and debris of a destroyed building.</p>
