<p>The results "open an avenue in the significance of reducing fried food consumption for mental health," according to the research.&nbsp;</p>

<p>But there remains a crucial caveat in the findings.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Experts cited in the media say that since the results of the research are preliminary, it is yet to be made clear whether fried foods drive mental health issues or people with mental health issues turn to fried food items. That is, the Catch-22 situation can be understood as: Are you driven to fried food items because you are anxious or depressed, or do the fried food items drive anxiety or depression in the first place?</p>

<p>This is because people with underlying symptoms of anxiety and depression often turn to comfort foods.</p>

<p>The study evaluated 140,728 people over a period of more than 11.3 years.&nbsp;</p>

<p>After excluding participants diagnosed with depression within the first two years, a total of 8,294 cases of anxiety and 12,735 cases of depression were found in those that consumed fried food.</p>

<p>The study had also found that the participants consuming more than one serving of fried food regularly were more likely to be youngsters, specifically the young men.</p>

<p>But a man from Illinois got such a surprise treat (?) when he found McDonald's meal inside his bathroom wall. We can probably understand if he wasn't up for a quick bite because the meal was six decades old.</p>

<p>Rob, the homeowner who found the meal, described this strange incident on Reddit.&nbsp;</p>

<p>“While removing a fixture in the bathroom I noticed a piece of cloth stuck behind plaster and pulled it out to show my wife,” he explained.</p>

<p>Their home was built in the year 1959. This means that the meal sitting inside the bathroom wall for more than 60 years.</p>

<p>Both Rob and his wife were relieved because the plastic wrappers contained food items and not anything sinister. Yikes!</p>

<p>The revelation of Mcdonald's meal has sparked a conversation on Reddit.</p>

<p>“I need to check inside my walls now,” said a user. “McDonald's fries never go bad. It's just an urban legend,” a third user commented.</p>

<p>The restaurant, Serendipity3, has turned them unique by coming up with gold-dusted french fries. It is called ‘Crème dela Crème Pommes Frites'. &nbsp;</p>

<p>In 2021, it has been recognised by Guinness World Records as ‘the most expensive French Fries’. A recent video shared by the organisation has gone viral. &nbsp;</p>

<p>The floods in Canada squeezed potato imports in Japan due to which the country has to ration its current supply.</p>

<p>"When we look back at the state of the agriculture sector in 2021, we can say this year has been marked by extreme climate change weather events," Agriculture Minister Marie-Claude Bibeau said in a recent speech.</p>
