<p>"Ground staff alerted pilots, who shut down engines to prevent escalation. And fire engines rushed to the site to prevent any untoward situation. The situation was brought under control. In between, all passengers were deplaned for a safety inspection," said a Chennai airport official.</p>

<p>In the aircraft, around 300 passengers were supposed to get on board minutes after the incident.</p>

<p>The flight was earlier scheduled to take off at 10:00&nbsp;pm, however, it got delayed by more than two hours and took off at 12:30 am (local time).</p>

<p>India's aviation watchdog Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) ordered an enquiry into the matter.</p>

<p>The man, who has been identified as Liu, and the woman, who is known as Chen, were working in the same department of a pharmaceutical company in Sichuan province, southwestern China, as reported by City Locale.</p>

<p>Their extra-marital affair was revealed when the wife of Liu shared the couple's chat records with the tennis chat group and the general manager of the company in March 2020, which led to their subsequent termination.</p>

<p>A joint complaint letter was submitted to the general manager by seven colleagues the next day.</p>

<p>After this, the company fired Liu and Chen while stating that they “went off the rails and violated rules outlined in the employee handbook”.</p>

<p>The employees filed lawsuits against the company. In the lawsuit, Chen has demanded compensation of 26,000 yuan (US$3,700) and Liu asked for more than 230,000 yuan (US$32,000).</p>

<p>In a new study, the scientists have found more evidence which supports this hypothesis.&nbsp;</p>

<p>They have discovered the traces of cosmic airbursts which were scattered across various sites in the eastern United States - which covers Maryland, New Jersey and South Carolina.&nbsp;</p>

<p>In the new evidence, they have found materials indicative of the force and temperature which were part of such an event - like platinum, microspherules, melt glass, and shock-fractured quartz.</p>

<p>“What we’ve found is that the pressures and temperatures were not characteristic of major crater-forming impacts but were consistent with so-called ‘touchdown’ airbursts that don’t form much in the way of craters,” said&nbsp;UC Santa Barbara&nbsp;Professor James Kennett, who headed the study.</p>

<p>One person was killed and five others wounded in northeastern France when several masked gunmen opened fire at a wedding ceremony, police sources said on Sunday.&nbsp;Sources suggested that the attack in the northeastern city of Thionville was linked to a settling of scores between drug traffickers.</p>

<p>The shooting took place at a reception hall overnight Saturday to Sunday, with around a hundred people in attendance.</p>
