Essel Group Chairman and Rajya Sabha MP Dr Subhash Chandra on Saturday extended his best wishes to the students graduating the class of 2022 from Mount Litera School International in Mumbai.

Dr Chandra had come here to be a part of the Class 2022 Graduation Ceremony - Dare to Dream.

While addressing the students, Dr Chandra shared some success mantras. He said, "There is regret in past, and future thoughts give anxieties, hence try to live in present."

"Live in the present and accept the reality as it takes away half of the sufferings," the Essel Group Chairman added.

Talking about his experience, Dr Chandra said that May 21, 1926, was the day when his great-grandfather (had established this group.

Dr Chandra added that the lesson of these sufferings is that misery is everywhere, and everyone has to go through them.

"It was 21 May 1926 when great grandfather established this group and our family has seen ups and downs. Those learnings say sufferings are everywhere. Everyone has to go through sufferings - big or small."

This is the second batch graduating from Mumbai's Mount Litera School International. The first celebration was postponed last year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Therefore, we are of the opinion that disputed facts cannot be examined under Article 226 of Constitution of India and once efficacious statutory remedy is available to the petitioner against the notice impugned, then we decline to exercise our discretionary jurisdiction under Article 226 of Constitution of India. Accordingly, the writ petition fails and is dismissed on the ground of availability of statutory remedy”.

The crime branch Gautam Budh Nagar police had issued a notice on Nov 5 to Yes Bank and NSDL for freezing the shares of Dish TV, which were pledged to the bank and later invoked by the lender.

The panellists included Bollywood actress Aditi Rao Hydari, Bollywood producer and director Ronnie Screwvala, and Onyekachi Stephanie Linus Idahosa, CEO, Next Page Productions.&nbsp;

Screwvala talked at length about the necessity of trained personnel and how a piece of art, like a movie, needs to be both a good product and be able to generate revenue. &quot;I think passion alone will not work, you will need to have talent, skilled knowledge of the craft. A good script is a must, otherwise the movie will bomb, aiming to generate revenue is also a necessity.&quot;

Dr Chandra also stressed the role of technology in the world of cinema. &quot;It is the power of the digital platform that will enable a marriage between the digital entities -- YouTube et cetera -- and traditional cinema. Every product has a shelf life, once the movie is off theatres, it will cross over to television or to the internet,&quot; Dr Chandra noted.&nbsp;
