<p>When asked if he believed there would be a calm transfer in January 2025, the US President replied, "If Trump loses, I'm not confident at all," Biden said during the interview set to air in full on Sunday (Aug 11), "He means what he says. We don't take him seriously. He means it—all the stuff about 'if we lose, there'll be a bloodbath,'" added Biden.</p>

<p>Notably, while campaigning earlier this year, Biden frequently brought up the fact that Trump's supporters stormed the US Capitol on January 6, 2021, after Biden beat him in the 2020 election.</p>

<p>Describing Walz as a "very, very liberal man", Trump said he is "thrilled" that he is on the Democratic ticket.</p>

<p>"He's very heavy into transgender...anything transgender he thinks is great. He's not where the country is on anything," he added.</p>

<p>Trump described Walz as a smarter version of Harris. "If you look at his record with no walls, no security, let everybody in... he's worse than they are. Nobody knew how radical left she [Harris] was, but he's a smarter version of her."</p>

<p>Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump slammed a reporter for asking him why Black voters should trust him during an appearance at the National Association of Black Journalists' annual convention in Chicago on Wednesday (July 31).</p>

<p>ABC's Rachel Scott questioned the former president about why Black voters should trust him despite his past comments where he called Black journalists 'losers' and 'stupid'.</p>

<p>"You have used words like 'animal' and 'rabid' to describe Black district attorneys. You've attacked Black journalists—calling them losers, saying the questions that they asked are quote, 'stupid' and 'racist'. "Why should Black voters trust you after you have used language like that?" Scott asked.</p>

<p>She called it the "elephant in the room" after expressing gratitude to Trump for attending and pointing out that many people believed he shouldn't be at the convention.</p>
