<p>The 'Pran Pratishtha' (consecration) ceremony at the Ram Temple was attended by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who revealed the idol in its final form just before the 'Pran Pratishtha'. Ram Lalla's new idol was placed inside temple premises last week. The idol is of five-year-old Ram Lalla standing on a lotus.&nbsp;</p>

<h2><strong>Wife rejoices at selection of Yogiraj's idol</strong></h2>

<p>While earlier narrating the journey of the 'god-maker' to WION, Yogiraj's wife Vijetha Arun Yogiraj said: "In January 2023 many artists from India were invited to present their previous work in the national capital Delhi and after scrutiny, three artists were selected to make Lord Ram's idol. Arun started working on the idol in the month of June in Ayodhya and completed the idol after six months of hard work."</p>

<p>The stone used for making the Ram idol – Krishna Shila – came as a surprise to many especially because of its bluish-grey colour.</p>

<p>Speaking about how Krishna Shila stone is a good choice for making the idol, Vijetha said: "It was decided by the temple authorities what kind of stone has to be used for making the idol. The Krishna Shila stone is a monolithic stone – which is one stone from which the whole idol is made."</p>

<p>Expressing how exhilarated the family is on Arun's feat, Vijetha said, "When he was shortlisted for sculpting the idol of Ram Lalla, we were all excited. We were so happy and felt that we had done some good deed, that is why we have got such an opportunity. We were informed by the media. We started celebrating from the day he was chosen to make the idol. When they told us that all three idols would be installed in the temple itself, that was the happiest moment."</p>

<p>Kunj Bihari, a national award-winning hand craftsman, has crafted the temple’s replica as a token of love and devotion for Lord Ram. Bihari made the temple replica in Gulabi Meenakari, an art of decorating a metal surface by using mineral substances on it.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Bihari claimed that this is the first time that someone has crafted a replica of the Ram Temple in the indigenous enamelling of Gulabi Meenakari.</p>

<p>"It took 108 days to create this artwork. Gulabi Meenakari involves the use of gold and silver. The replica of the temple also includes a golden idol of Ram Lalla,"&nbsp;Bihari said.</p>

<p>The replica weighs approximately 2.5 kg, measuring 12 inches in height, eight inches in width, and 12 inches in length.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Bihari said that the work is a blessing of Lord Ram himself, as his previous attempts to replicate Ram Temple didn’t go well. He said that earlier when he tried to craft out the exact structure of the Ayodhya temple using Gulabi Meenakari, the temple could not take the shape.</p>

<p>However, as soon as the construction work commenced with the invocation of Lord Ram’s name, the temple gradually started taking the form, said Bihari. He also said that the Gulabi Meenakari artwork gained international recognition only after the efforts of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.&nbsp;</p>

<p>With Ram Mandir consecration ceremony in Ayodhya just five days away, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday (January 16) prayed at Veerabhadra temple located in Lepakshi in southern Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. The temple and the town hold significance in Ramayana, the ancient Hindu epic that describes life and struggles of Lord Ram, his wife Goddess Sita and his brother Laxman.</p>

<p>PM Modi offered prayers at the temple. He was dressed in traditional attire and prayed to Lord Veerbhadra, who is the fiery form of Lord Shiva. During his visit to the temple, PM Modi also heard verses from the Ranganatha Ramayan in southern Indian language Telugu.</p>

<p>According to Ramayan, the warrior bird Jatayu fell in Lepakshi after its valiant effort to stop Raavan, the demon king, who was abducting Goddess Sita. Lord Ram met Jatayu while the latter was taking his last breath. It was Jatayu who told Lord Ram that Sita was abducted by Raavan. It has a capacity of 12,000 litres, and 7,000 kg of halwa can be made in it. A crane is required to lift it. The spatula, weighing 10 to 12 kg,&nbsp;has holes in it so that it is easy to cook,” the chef told ANI.&nbsp;</p>
