All India Majlis-E-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) Chief Asaduddin Owaisi on Saturday called out Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan to drop his ‘mask of innocence’ while criticising the Pakistan government for its role in the Pulwama terror attack.

Addressing a rally along with Bharip Bahujan Mahasangh president Prakash Ambedkar, Owaisi said, “We would like to tell Pakistan PM not to give that message to India which he wants to seated before a camera. This is not the first attack. There was Pathankot, Uri and now Pulwama. And on behalf of India, I want to tell the Prime Minister of Pakistan to drop his mask of innocence.”

He also said that Pakistan should not worry about Indian Muslims as they are here by choice after refusing Jinnah's proposition during 1947.

He also outlined the country’s diversity and said that the neighbouring country is jealous by the unity of Indian citizens.

“One of the ministers from Pakistan had said that they will stop the prayer bells from ringing in temples of India but I want to tell him that he doesn’t know India. Till Muslims of this country are alive, Azaan will sound from mosques and bells will ring in temples. This is the beauty of our country which the neighbouring country sees with jealousy. People in this country live as one and when it will come to the country we all will be together,” Owaisi said.

Owaisi also lambasted terrorist outfit Jaish-e-Mohammed for its role in the dastardly terror attack and opined that a disciple of Mohammed would never kill a person.

“I want to clearly say as a citizen of India, that this dastardly attack has links to Pakistan. It was done as per plan of Pakistan government, Pakistan Army and ISI. I would like to tell the outfit that killed our 40 men and claimed its responsibility - you`re not Jaish-e-Mohammed, you are Jaish-e-Shayateen. You are Jaish-e-Shayateen, Jaish-e-Iblis. Masood Azhar, you are not a Maulana, you are a disciple of the devil. It is not Laskhar-e-Taiba, it is Lashkar-e-Shayateen.”

Around 40 CRPF personnel lost their lives when a JeM operative attacked their convoy in Pulwama's Awantipora in the state of Jammu and Kashmir on February 14.

In the wake of the attack, the international community has extended its support to India in its fight against terrorism, including China which had previously stonewalled efforts to designate JeM chief Masood Azhar as a "global terrorist" at the United Nations Security Council.&nbsp;

The All India Majlis-e-Ittehad-ul Muslimeen (AIMIM) president Asaduddin Owaisi on Friday exuded confidence that his party would be successful in Telangana Assembly polls.

However, the Legislative Assembly was dissolved prematurely on September six following a recommendation made by the TRS government.

The ruling TRS is going alone in the polls and so does the BJP.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Sunday claimed that the Bharatiya Janata Party will rename Hyderabad to Bhagyanagar if the party is voted to power in Telangana. The comments came during Adityanath's rally in Telangana's Goshamahal constituency.&nbsp;

Adityanath further added that if the people want to see Hyderabad change to Bhagyanagar, they should give BJP a chance.

AIMIM President Asaduddin Owaisi has alleged that the Congress candidate in Nirmal constituency in poll-bound Telangana attempted to bribe him by offering Rs 25 lakh to cancel his rally in support of the TRS in the town, a charge denied by the latter.

Addressing a public meeting organised by his party in Nirmal on Monday night, Owaisi alleged that A Maheshwar Reddy called a MIM leader on phone and offered to pay Rs 25 lakh as bribe to stop him from holding the meeting. He also claimed to have recorded the conversation.

Rejecting the charge, Reddy termed it as baseless and false and said he would quit politics if Owaisi proved it.

MIM, which is on friendly terms with the TRS, has not fielded its candidate in Nirmal Assembly seat, and organised the meeting in support of the ruling party candidate though there was no formal electoral tie-up between the two parties for the December 7 Assembly elections.

The MIM is contesting eight seats -- all in Hyderabad -- while the TRS is going it alone in the polls to the 119-member assembly. Congress heading a 'grand alliance' of TDP, CPI and TJS has announced candidates for 94 segments.

"Now when this jalsa (meeting) is happening the Congress people tried to buy Asaduddin Owaisi. Maheshwar (Reddy) phoned a MIM leader telling him to stop Owaisi Saheb, (and) will give Rs 25 lakh party fund. I have the recording (of that phone conversation)," Owaisi said at the meeting.

"I want to make it very clear if really somebody had called him or met him or if he has any evidence let him show the evidences. I am ready to take it as a challenge and I am ready to quit politics if it is proved. Is he ready to quit politics, if it is untrue? he asked.

Owaisi hurls bribe charge, Congress candidate rejects allegation

The Hyderabad Police has booked Asaduddin Owaisi-led All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) workers for allegedly violating the model code of conduct while filing nomination papers for Telangana Assembly elections.

Two cases were registered against the workers on Thursday-one for violating guidelines and permission given by the Returning Officer during filing the nomination and other for flying drone without permission.

Speaking to ANI, Sultan Bazar Assistant Commissioner of Police, Chetana said, "We have received a complaint from Election Commission flying squad team stating that on November 15 AIMIM candidate Ahmed Balala came to the Returning Officer`s office to file his nomination. AIMIM workers took out a massive rally and few workers were also seen flying drone camera which is now banned."

"Two cases have been registered against AIMIM workers for flying drone camera and violating guidelines and permission given by the Returning Officer. We have held one person in connection with the case, and are investigating the matter," he added.

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) workers from Malakpet constituency also protested against the matter.

The elections in the state are slated to be held on December 7 and the counting of votes will take place on December 11. The 119-member state assembly was dissolved prematurely on September 6 on the recommendation of Rao-led Telangana government.

Expressing his concern over the results of the Karnataka election, AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi said that the results have brought down the Muslim representation in the assembly.

He said,&nbsp;"&nbsp;Karnataka assembly results have brought down Muslim representation in the Assembly and this should be the cause of concern for every political party which believes&nbsp;in diversity and pluralism".&nbsp;

He also extended wishes to JD(S) leader HD Kumaraswamy for his party's victory. He said, "&nbsp;Kumaraswamy will discharge his constitutional responsibility in a better way as compared to his predecessors".

All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) president Asaduddin Owaisi lashed out at the National Investigative Agency (NIA) over the acquittal of five accused in Mecca Masjid blast case.

Addressing a rally here, Owaisi said that the investigative agency has turned deaf and blind and assured to provide help to the family of the victims against the verdict.

"If the family of any victim wants to appeal against the verdict, then I am ready to provide them legal help. People call NIA a caged parrot, but I will say that it is blind and deaf also," Owaisi said.

On Monday, a special National Investigation Agency (NIA) court at Nampally acquitted five accused in the over a decade-long case, citing lack of evidence against them.

Out of a total of 10 accused named in the case, only five faced trial, as one died while others are still absconding.

The blast, which took place on May 18, 2007, at the Hyderabad mosque during Friday prayers, had killed eight people and left 58 injured. It was allegedly carried out by a group of right-wing terrorists.

According to the 1950 Presidential order in Article 341 of the Indian Constitution, only Hindus, Sikhs and Buddhists can be Dalits and not Christians or Muslims.

An unidentified person tonight hurled a shoe at AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi while he was addressing a rally at Nagpada in south Mumbai, police said. The Member of Parliament was not hurt in the incident, they said.

Owaisi was voicing his opposition on the triple talaq issue at the rally around 9.45 pm when the incident took place, a senior police officer said.

&quot;I am willing to lay down my life for my democratic rights. These are all frustrated people, who cannot see that the government decision on triple talaq has not been accepted by the masses in general and Muslims in particular,&quot; Owaisi told PTI.

AIMIM president Asaduddin Owaisi on Monday slammed RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat and said does he think that he is the Chief Justice of India, reported news agency ANI.&nbsp;&nbsp;

AIMIM president Asaduddin Owaisi on Monday slammed RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat and said does he think that he is the Chief Justice of India, reported news agency ANI. Owaisi's comments came after Bhagwat's comments two weeks ago about a Ram temple at a disputed site in Ayodhya that housed the Babri Masjid until 1992 when it was demolished by the Hindu fundamentalists.
