The function will take place at Astor Ballroom of the hotel, which has a seating capacity of 300 guests. Located on the 9th floor, the ballroom has 23 foot-high ceilings and crystal chandeliers.</p>

<p>Among the guests, Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, Karan Johar and other Bollywood celebrities are expected to attend the event. Sources close to the couple have stated that the couple chose to host the party on December 26th so that the Indian cricket team could attend it. India just won a series against Sri Lanka which got over on December 24th. So MS Dhoni, Rohit Sharma, Yuvraj and others will be coming to wish the newlyweds. The event is supposed to begin at 8 pm.&nbsp;</p>

<p>News reports said the couple, who got married on December 11 in Tuscany, Italy, invited Modi to their wedding reception.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The wedding itself was a private affair, with only friends and family in attendance.&nbsp;</p>

<p>There has been some controvery over the wedding too, with a <a href="http://www.wionews.com/india-news/why-did-virat-anushka-not-hold-their-wedding-in-india-questions-madhya-pradesh-mla-27211">BJP MLA </a>from Madhya Pradesh asking on Tuesday why Virushka had got married outside the country.&nbsp;</p>

<p>That the MP said was not very patriotic of them.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Interestingly, the cricketer Gautam Gambhir came out in support of Kohli -- the two reportedly did not get along on the pitch -- on Wednesday.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The year 2017 is about to come to an end. It was the year where Bollywood saw actors doing multiple projects, of which some really did very well at the box office &nbsp;while some just didn&rsquo;t live up to the expectation of the audience. The year 2017 saw three releases from the actor including Naam Shabana where he played more than a cameo, then <em>Jolly LLB 2</em> a surprising hit and of course <em>Toilet Ek Prem Katha.</em> Coming year, Akshay has four major releases including 2.0- sequel to Robot- where he will be seen playing a negative role opposite Thailava Rajnikant. And then there is R. Balki&#39;s <em>Padman</em> inspired by a real-life story, which will release in January. After a couple of debacles in the year 2017, the actor has a few interesting films lined up next year. Sushant is all geared up to play a dacoit in Abhishek Chaubey&#39;s <em>Chambal </em>set in the 1970&#39;s. The film is being produced by Ronnie Screwvala and has Bhumi Pednekar opposite Sushant. The film tries to capture the reality and the lives of dacoits in the ravines of Chambal. Sushant Singh will be seen in Abhishek Kapoor&#39;s directorial venture <em>Kedarnath </em>which is a love story set against the backdrop of pilgrimage, and the devastating floods that hit Uttarakhand in 2013. Saif Ali Khan&#39;s daughter Sara Ali Khan is making her debut opposite Sushant in Kedarnath that is slated to release on <span data-term="goog_1587596689" tabindex="0">21st December 2018</span>. Early next year Sushant will be seen playing an astronaut in a science fiction film called <em>Chanda Mama Door Ke</em>. It is being directed by Sanjay Puran Singh Chauhan and produced by Viki Rajani. It has also had R Madhavan playing the role of a test pilot in the film. As reported Shraddha Kapoor and Bhumi Pednekar are the female leads in the film. Last but the not the least, Sushant will be seen in Karan Johar&#39;s action comedy film<em> Drive</em> which is an official remake of Hollywood flick with the same name. The film will be directed Tarun Mansukhani and has Jacqueline Fernandes romancing Sushant. As confirmed by producer Karan Johar, <em>Drive </em>will be the first instalment of a new film series.</p>

Sanjay recently took his Instagram handle to share a picture of his look from the film, and boy, he&#39;s totally nailing the badass look! Next film would be a romantic thriller<em> Malang</em>, produced by Bhushan Kumar and Omung Kumar. The film is directed by debutante Aarambhh Singh and is set in Varanasi. After Malang, the audience would get to enjoy the sequel to Dutt&#39;s 1991 super hit film <em>Sadak 2</em>. It will have Sanjay Dutt and Pooja Bhatt reprising the lead roles in the movie being produced by Mukesh Bhatt. <em>Sadak 2</em> will presumably reach the theatres in August 2018. Though the actor didn't see any releases this year but he will be the only actor to have as many as 6 releases in the year 2018. Then there is Abhinay Deo's quirky comedy film Raita with Irrfan Khan and Kirti Kulhari as the lead pair. Next year Irrfan will see the release of Hollywood film Puzzle directed by Marc Turtletaub which is a family drama and Irrfan plays a pivotal character in the film. And then there is Anup Singh's The Song of Scorpions which is a twisted love story. The film stars Irrfan Khan, Iranian actress Golshifteh Farahani and Waheeda Rehman. The film has already received a thundering response at its India premiere at MAMI Film Festival. Anushka Sharma: Anushka Sharma (WION) × Actress turned producer Anushka Sharma’s films did not create magic at the box office this year. While Phillauri got mix response, Jab Harry Met Sejal tanked at the box office. But next year Anushka has 3 major releases. She will be seen in the most talked about Raju Hirani's film on Sanjay Dutt, Dutt with Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal. Then there is mysterious love story Pari, where Anushka is playing the titular role. This will be her 3rd production under her production company Clean Slate. Taapsee plays a character which is very important in Sandeep Singh's life. Soorma is currently in filming stage in Punjab. The mid-year 2018 will see two of the most anticipated film of Taapsee’s releasing. Prakash Raj's romantic comedy film Tadka with Nana Patekar and Ali Fazal which is an adaptation of Malayalam hit film Salt N Pepper. And there is American-Indo joint venture film Love Sonia directed by Tabrez Noorani. The film has ensemble cast including Richa Chadha, Mrunal Thakur, Freida Pinto, Manoj Bajpayee, Rajkummar Rao, Anupam Kher, Sai Tamhankar, Adil Hussain and diva Demi Moore. Tiger will be reviving his role in martial art action flick Baaghi 2 – a sequel to Baaghi which released in 2016. The film is expected to have awe-inspiring action sequences. Tiger will be seen romancing real-life girlfriend Disha Patani in the action flick this time. The actor will also be reprising one of the most successful franchises of Hollywood- the Rambo series in India.
