As per the US, the deal will provide a way to sort through key issues from climate change to supply chain resilience and digital trade to the countries that join. Although, the deal doesn't offer tariff relief or market access to the countries.&nbsp;

The framework will help countries together to negotiate the various aspects of trade and also to discuss how to consider potential future members, including China, which is not taking part, officials told reporters. Taiwan was also left out of the initial talks.&nbsp;

After analysing his travelling patterns, it has been understood that PM Modi apparently prefers night travel. ANI reported that PM Modi tries to save time. Most of the time, he attends engagements and meetings the next day and after that, he again travels in case needed.&nbsp;

The theme of the meeting was “Foster High-Quality BRICS Partnership, Usher in a New Era for Global Development”. &nbsp;

During the discussion on ‘Join Hands to Facilitate Green and Low-carbon Development’, India said that existing BRICS initiatives can also contribute towards promoting sustainable and low-carbon development. &nbsp;

"BRICS countries may explore cooperation in solar energy, industry transition, infrastructure and climate resilience," the Indian minister said. &nbsp;

Highlighting India’s climate actions, the minister stated that BRICS-led initiatives should be country-driven and voluntary in approach, and underlined the need for international cooperation and multilateralism. &nbsp;

The joint statement for the 8th BRICS Environment Ministers Meeting was adopted in the meeting after hectic deliberation among the BRICS nations.&nbsp;
