"They're a very good side, we know that, we've seen them play some superb cricket this tournament so far. But I think it's a good opportunity for our boys to show what they're made of as well."

This comes after the landmark 3-2 judgment where the apex court decided not to legalise same-sex marriage and asked the union government to form a committee to examine the rights which can be given to LGBTQ couples.

The review petition also argued that the court must be responsible for ensuring that people's fundamental rights are upheld.&nbsp;

The petition said that the majority judgment is a self-contradictory interpretation of 'marriage' as the Special Marriage Act confers marriage status while denying the right to same-sex marriage.

In 2017, venture capital funding for Indian startups amounted to $5.9 billion, of which only 11 per cent was allocated to women-led startups. However, by 2022, total VC funding had soared to $21.9 billion, and the proportion directed towards women-led startups had risen to 20 per cent. This shift underscores a positive change in the investment landscape, enhancing the prospects of female entrepreneurs.

The WISER report accentuates the ascent of women in leadership positions within startups, setting them apart from their counterparts in corporate enterprises.

The data reveals that startups outperform traditional businesses, with 32% of women in managerial roles compared to 21 per cent&nbsp;in corporate settings. This disparity becomes even more pronounced at the CXO level, where corporates have just 5 per cent&nbsp;of women in leadership roles, while startups boast 18 per cent. Moreover, startups founded by women display a significant trend, with 2.5 times more women in senior roles compared to those founded by men.

Despite the overall progress, the report says&nbsp;that there is still work to be done. After a decade in their careers, 8 out of 10 men in startups occupy director-level positions or higher, whereas only 5 in 10 women attain such roles.

Andhra Pradesh&nbsp;was formed on 1 Nov 1956 after it was bifurcated from United Andhra Pradesh. United Andhra Pradesh was a former state in India which was made up of three distinct cultural regions - Telangana, Rayalaseema and Coastal Andhra. However, the state took its present form on 2 June 2014 when the new state of Telangana was formed through bifurcation.&nbsp;

Chhattisgarh was formed as a state on 1 Nov 2000. It was formerly a part of Madhya Pradesh and was granted statehood in 2000 with Raipur as the designated state capital.

Haryana

Haryana was formed as a state on 1 Nov 1966 after it was carved out of the former state of East Punjab on a linguistic basis.&nbsp;

The youth here are also hoisting their flag in the world of innovation." PM Modi said in one of the posts.

Karnataka

Karnataka’s formation day is also known as Karnataka Rajyotsava. The state came into existence on 1 Nov 1956 as Mysore state, which was later renamed Karnataka in 1973.&nbsp;

Kerala

Kerala’s formation day is known as Kerala Piravi. The state was formed on 1 Nov 1956 following the passage of the States Reorganisation Act.&nbsp;

Wishing Kerala in its native language, the Prime Minister said, “Greetings on the special occasion of Kerala Piravi. Known for their diligence and the rich tapestry of their cultural heritage, the people of Kerala embody resilience and determination."

Punjab Day is also celebrated across the state on November 1 marking the formation of the state under the Punjab Reorganisation Act (1966).&nbsp;

Tamil Nadu&nbsp;

Tamil Nadu Day, also referred to as Tamil Nadu Dhiman, is the formation day of Tamil Nadu state. It was created on 1 Nov 1956 with the name Madras State.&nbsp;It was renamed later to Tamil Nadu in July 1967.&nbsp;
