<p>The ANI report said that on Tuesday,&nbsp;four elephants, from a herd of 13 elephants, were found dead in the BTR while four others were found ill during normal patrolling. Upon receiving the information, forest officials reached the spot to understand the situation.</p>

<p>A forest official told the news agency that among those 13 elephants, two were normal and healthy while the treatment of the remaining elephants was initiated.</p>

<p>The Deepotsav event was first-of-its kind that also set two Guinness World Records- the most people performing ‘aarti’ simultaneously and the largest display of oil lamps. It was also first such celebration since the Ram Temple consecration in January 2022.</p>

<p>The two records were set on 55 ghats, including Ram ki Paidi, on the banks of the Saryu River with over 2.5 million diyas lit together and 1,121 ‘vedacharyas’ (teachers of religious texts) performing ‘aarti’ simultaneously. The number of diyas were counted using drones.</p>

<p>Pravin Patel, the adjudicator at Guinness World Records was present at the event in Ayodhya with Guinness Consultant Nischal Bharot for verification. The team announced the new records on Wednesday evening.</p>

<p>"With a total of 1,121, U.P. Tourism, District administration of Ayodhya and Saryu Aarti Samiti, you are the Guinness World Records title holder for most people performing diya rotations simultaneously. Congratulations!" Patel declared.</p>

<p>On the second record, the Guinness adjudicator said, "With a total of 25,12,585, which translates into just over 25 lakh, U.P. Tourism, Government of U.P., District Administration of Ayodhya, and Dr Ram Manohar Lohia Avadh University, you are the new Guinness World Records title holder for the largest display of oil lamps!"</p>

<p>Patel further said that "most people performing diya rotations (aarti) simultaneously" is a brand new record. "This could not have been set up with just one diya so a minimum target of 250 was set," he said.</p>

<p>For the largest display of oil lamps, the previous record was 22,23,676. This was achieved during the Deepotsav in 2023.</p>

<p>Three people died and 11 got injured in two firecracker-related accidents in Andhra Pradesh on Thursday (Oct 31).&nbsp;</p>

<p>This comes amid the government asking people to not burn firecrackers.&nbsp;</p>

<p>According to the police, the accident happened when a man carrying "onion bombs" (a special Diwali firecracker) in a bag on his vehicle hit a pothole near Ganganamma temple, causing the bag with "onion bombs" to fall.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The firecrackers exploded on the spot, killing the rider. The rider has been identified as Sudhakar.&nbsp;</p>

<p>With less than a month to go, Maharashtra Assembly elections are set for a colossal battle of two alliances that did not exist merely three years ago. The voting for the 288 seats is set to take place on November 20 as national parties like Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Indian National Congress (INC) flex their muscle. Eyes will also be firmly on the divided Shiv Sena (SS) and Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) as they enter their maiden elections after the internal split out in recent years. &nbsp;</p>

<h2><strong>What has happened in the last five years?</strong></h2>

<p>In the last five years&nbsp;unified SS, once an ally of BJP, decided to break the alliance and form a government with INC and NCP in 2019. Uddhav Thackeray, son of SS’s founder Bal Thackeray, became chief minister of state and gave a new direction to Maharashtra’s politics. An internal conflict in SS in June 2022 saw Eknath Shinde march out of the alliance and form a government with the BJP.</p>

<p>This meant that Shiv Sena was divided into two parties – Shiv Sena (led by Eknath Shinde) and Shiv Sena-UBT (Uddhav Bal Thackeray). SS-UBT would remain part of the INDIA bloc where INC is the leading national party.</p>

<p>A similar pattern also followed in the NCP, which also got divided in July 2023 when veteran leader Ajit Pawar decided to shake hands with BJP and SS in the National Democratic Alliance (NDA). Subsequently, the party was divided into – NCP and NCP-SP (Sharadchandra Pawar).</p>

<p>While there has been plenty of bad blood between Shiv Sena’s two factions, the same has not been the case in NCP. The Dussehra Melawa (Shiv Sena’s annual public program on Vijayadashami festival) has seen plenty of bad blood being exchanged. <p>After being childless for 15 years, the couple opted for IVF treatment at a hospital in Nikol in 2018 and became parents to a daughter. However, two years after the couple had their first child, a daughter, Dilip started behaving weirdly. Like questioning why they should spend money on the child, as she was not their daughter.</p>

<p>This allegedly led to a dispute between the couple.</p>

<p>When Asha began screaming, the complaint mentioned further, Dilip chased her into the kitchen and struck her with an iron stool, intending to kill her. Hearing the noise, the neighbours gathered at the house and Dilip fled. Asha is currently undergoing treatment at LG Hospital.&nbsp;</p>

Gujarat: Father kills 5-year-old daughter who was conceived through IVF after 15 years

<p>Uttar Pradesh's Ayodhya celebrated its first "Deepotsav" since the consecration of the Ram Temple, on Wednesday (Oct 30), with over 2.5 million diyas lit on the bank of River Saryu, creating a Guinness World Record.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath led the celebrations in Ayodhya. Along with Yogi, other cabinet ministers also joined him in lighting the first few lamps for the launch of the celebration.&nbsp;</p>

<h2><strong>Guinness World Record</strong></h2>

<p>Ayodhya created a new Guinness World Record by lighting 2,512,585 diyas on Ram ki Paidi and 54 other ghats along the Saryu River.&nbsp;</p>

<p>This broke the last record of 2,223,000 diyas set in 2023.&nbsp;<br />

The other Guinness World Record was of&nbsp;1,121 people performing Saryu aarti simultaneously. The 1,121 individuals were 'vedacharyas' (teachers of religious texts), reported&nbsp;news agency PTI.</p>

<p>Speaking to news agency PTI, sub-inspector of Banjara Hills Police Station Ram Babu said, "We received a complaint yesterday that Reshma Begum (33) died and 15 others suffered food poisoning after consuming momo&nbsp;(street food) from a single vendor at different locations. We have registered a case and are investigating the matter."</p>

<p>Though we don’t know the entire conversation between the woman and the man, nor we can confirm the identity of the two, what appears from the posted screenshot is that the woman was pressing on the man for an early engagement.</p>

<p>However, when she found that the man had a low salary, the conversation took a wild turn immediately, as seen from the screenshot.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The man said that the woman seemed “nice all these days” until he pointed out his “typo error.” The man goes by the name Kish Siff on X, where his bio claims he is a counsellor at Save Indian Family Foundation, a men’s rights NGO.</p>

<p>The screenshot shows that the woman was asking the man for an early engagement. When he asked for more time to get to know her, advising caution as it would be the second marriage for both of them, the woman refused saying “Can’t wait or we find other matches.”</p>

<p>The man gave up on the pressure and said he was okay with getting engaged in mid-November. He then told the woman that he had made a small “typo” in his matrimonial profile by adding an extra zero to his salary.</p>

<p>He said that his salary was ₹3 lakhs ($3,568) per annum, not ₹30 lakhs ($3 million).</p>
