A man&nbsp;was allegedly beaten to death in Haryana's Palwal district on Friday night on suspicion of cattle theft.

According to reports, the man's legs and hands were tied while he was being thrashed by three men, identified as Beer Singh, Prakash and Ram Kishan in Bahrola village in Palwal.&nbsp;

The assailants have alleged that the unidentified victim had come to steal cattle along with two other men who fled from the spot.

News agency PTI reported while quoting SHO Devender of Palwal Sadar police station, that the victim was caught by three brothers on the intervening night of August 2 and 3 while he was allegedly trying to steal cattle from the yard belonging to their father.

The victim was allegedly cutting the nets put over the cattle when he was caught, PTI reported, adding that injury marks were found on the victim's hands and neck.

The police have registered a murder case against the trio and arrested Ram Kishan. The body of the victim has also been sent for a post-mortem.

The country in recent years is seeing a growing number of mob lynching case coming from various states. &nbsp;&nbsp;

In the latest incident, 28-year-old man name Rakbar Khan in Alwar district was lynched last month over the suspicion of cattle smuggling.

This case was the third lynching case in Alwar within a year.

According to a report by news agency Reuters, data portal IndiaSpend has tallied more than 30 deaths from nearly 70 such incidents since January 2017.

Earlier in July also, 25 people were arrested for being part of a mob that lynched a 32-year-old man following the rumours spread over an instant messaging platform Whatsapp that he was a child abductor.

The Congress said the NRC is a product of the Assam Accord which had been forged by former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi in the 1980's. The Congress also said that former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh had provided Rs 440 crores to employ enumerators to carry out the NRC. And it said that the BJP is trying to politicise the issue for electoral benefit.&nbsp;

Differing with his party's stand on the desirability of the Article 35A of the Constitution, a BJP leader on Saturday supported its continuation, saying "there are fears in Jammu that if the article is repealed, the region will suffer the most due to the influx of outsiders."

"Many people feel if the outsiders are allowed to settle in Jammu, it will have an adverse impact on the region's economy and employment opportunities,"&nbspthe BJP leader Rajesh Gupta, who joined the party ahead of the 2014 parliamentary elections, said in a statement here.

He said the Article 35-A is beneficial for the permanent residents of J&K state and needs to be retained and strengthened.

"If Article 35-A or Article 370 is repealed, the accession of the state with the supremacy of India would shudder. The Article 35A is beneficial for the permanent residents of the state,"&nbspGupta added.

The Article 35A of the Constitution empowers the Jammu and Kashmir legislature to define "permanent residents"&nbspof the state and provide them special rights and privileges.

It was added to the Constitution by a Presidential Order -- The Constitution (Application to Jammu and Kashmir) Order, 1954 -- issued on 14 May 1954 as per the provisions of the Article 370 and in concurrence with the then state government.&nbsp

Bharatiya Janata Party MP Meenakshi Lekhi on Saturday attacked Congress president Rahul Gandhi over his challenge to prime minister Narendra Modi for an open debate.

Defence Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on Saturday asserted that every attempt at infiltration along the Line of Control in Jammu and Kashmir from across the border would be thwarted.

"I am here as Raksha Mantri to take care of our borders to stop infiltration. I will keep doing that irrespective of what is happening there (in Pakistan). Our stand remains the same. Every attempt of infiltration will be thwarted," she said.

Sitharaman was responding to a query on infiltration bids after the recent elections in Pakistan in which Imran Khan's Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf emerged as the single largest party with the cricketer-turned-politician set to take over as prime minister.

About Congress president Rahul Gandhi's statement that External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj had "buckled and prostrated herself in front of Chinese power" on the Doklam issue, she said Swaraj had comprehensively answered it in Parliament, and there was no point in repeating it.

Sitharaman said she stands by the statement of Swaraj, who had told Parliament that the India-China face-off over Doklam was resolved through "diplomatic maturity without losing any ground" and status quo has been maintained.

Gandhi had earlier tweeted, "Amazing how a lady like Sushma ji has buckled and prostrated herself in front of Chinese power. Absolute subservience to the leader means our brave jawan has been betrayed on the border."&nbsp

He had also tagged a media report on a US Congresswoman claiming China has "quietly resumed" its activities in the Doklam area and asserting that neither Bhutan nor India sought to dissuade it.

The claim, however, was denied by New Delhi.

Asked about the "update" on India's move to procure S-400 Triumf air defence missile systems from Russia for the Indian Air Force and if it was pending because of the US issue, she said, "Well, update on 2+2 dialogue is that it is happening on September 6 in New Delhi."&nbsp

The US State Department had recently announced that the inaugural 'two-plus-two dialogue' between India and the US would be held on September 6 in New Delhi.

The US had postponed the much-awaited dialogue citing "unavoidable reasons".&nbsp

The dialogue is seen as a vehicle to elevate the strategic relationship between the two countries.

The announcement of the 'two-plus-two dialogue' comes amid prospects of India being imposed with unintended sanctions that are targeted at Iran and Russia.

Asked about reports that the venue of Aero India Show, which has traditionally been happening in Bengaluru, may be shifted to Lucknow, she said her ministry has not made any announcements.

"Well, there are no announcements made yet by the ministry of defence as regards AeroIndia Show," Sitharaman said but cited examples of similar events happening elsewhere instead of the traditional venues.

"People in many places have been asking for that (AeroIndia Show) like the way in which the defence expo (happened)...More than 10 editions have taken place only in Delhi. We once moved to Goa.

"This time it was moved to Tamil Nadu. There are cities asking for it. So, we have not made any announcement as yet but sooner we will have an announcement," she said.

She, however, said an announcement should be within a reasonable time so that participants can reach the venue well in time.

The tech giant, last night, issued a statement clarifying that it had "inadvertently" loaded the old UIDAI helpline number and 112 helpline number into the 'setup wizard' of Android phones and that it is sorry for the same.&nbsp;

"Our internal review has revealed that in 2014, the then UIDAI helpline number and the 112 distress helpline number were inadvertently coded into the setup wizard of the Android release given to OEMs (Original equipment manufacturers) for use in India and has remained there since. Since the numbers get listed on a user's contact list these get transferred accordingly to the contacts on any new device," a Google spokesperson said in a statement.&nbsp;

Public outrage erupted when some Android-run smartphone users spotted pre-stored Aadhaar helpline number in their phonebook without prior user consent. The incident created panic among Android users across the country.

"We are sorry for any concern that this might have caused and would like to assure everyone that this is not a situation of an unauthorised access of their Android devices. Users can manually delete the number from their devices," the statement added.&nbsp;

The tech titan said it will "work towards fixing this in an upcoming release of SetUp wizard which will be made available to OEMs over the next few weeks". It also added that the number can be deleted manually from the phones.&nbsp;

Aadhaar-issuing authority UIDAI on Friday stated <a href="http://wionews.com/india-news/not-asked-mobile-makers-operators-to-include-helpline-number-on-phones-uidai-156763">not having asked any phone maker or telecom service provider</a> to include its toll-free number on mobile phones. Telecom operators' body COAI also noted that no one from the body had pre-loaded any unknown numbers on any mobile phone.

Many disgruntled users took to social media and lashed out at the UIDAI after their Android-operating system-run mobile phones listed by default the Aadhaar helpline number 1800-300-1947.

UIDAI clarified stating that the number 1800-300 was an "outdated and invalid" helpline number and that "some vested interests are trying to create unwarranted confusion in the public".

The UIDAI's valid toll-free number is 1947, which is functional for more than the last two years, it had said.

UIDAI row: 'We're sorry, this isn't unauthorised access of Android devices,' Google apologises

If India remains committed to achieving 100 per cent coverage in terms of safe sanitation services by October 2019, as many as 3,00,000 deaths caused due to diarrheal disease and protein-energy malnutrition (PEM) can be averted, the World Health Organisation highlighted.

Results tabulated from a WHO modelling study on the health impact of the Swachh Bharat Mission-Gramin (SBM-G) outline noted that India's accelerated coverage of safe sanitation services and its determination to end open defecation will have a substantial effect on the burden of diarrheal disease and PEM by reducing mortality and accumulative Disability Adjusted Life Years (DALYs).

DALYs is the sum of the years of life lost due to premature mortality and years lost due to disability or ill-health.

As per calculations, if all sanitation services are used, the initiative could result in over 14 million more years of healthy life in the period measured, with the benefits accruing yearly thereafter.

That is especially remarkable, given that before 2014, unsafe sanitation caused an estimated 199 million cases of diarrhoea annually, with modelling showing the problem will almost be eliminated when the universal use of safe sanitation facilities is achieved, the WHO observed.

The premier health organisation further noted that India's commitment and progress towards the outcomes are reflected in the fact that household sanitation coverage has dramatically increased from an estimated two per cent per year before the initiative to more than 13 per cent annually between 2016 and 2018.

The recent allocation of up to Rs 15,000 crore as extra-budgetary resources for the SBM-G during the present financial year holds-out the potential for further gains, not only for India, but also the WHO South-East Asia Region and the world (globally, diarrheal disease is the second leading cause of under-five mortality, while lack of clean water and sanitation is also a major contributor to malnutrition), it added.

The broader health impact of India's commitment to accelerated sanitation coverage, the WHO said, are likely to be significant. This includes improved overall nutritional status and reduced incidence of infectious diseases such as neglected tropical diseases and acute respiratory infections, as well as vector-borne diseases.

Moreover, the estimations apply to the health impacts from improvements in sanitation coverage only, meaning it is possible that the broader mission has produced additional health gains through changes in personal hygiene and the consumption of safe drinking water, it added.

Acknowledging measures taken in collaboration with the Centre to scale up access to sanitation services and to utilise resources more efficiently to reach those under threat of being excluded, the WHO said India's pursual of South-East Asia's Flagship Priorities and the Sustainable Development Goals, will oblige countries to ensure access to safe water and sanitation for all, and commended India for the commitment.

On a related note, WHO's South-East Asia Region comprises the following 11 Member States: Bangladesh, Bhutan, Democratic People's Republic of Korea, India, Indonesia, Maldives, Myanmar, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Thailand and Timor-Leste.

A man with a knife in his hand&nbsp;tried to enter the Kerala House in Delhi on Saturday at the time when Kerala chief minister Pinarayi Vijayan was inside the premises.

According to reports, the man screamed as he attempted to barge inside the Kerala House with a knife in his hand and a national flag in his shirt's front pocket. He also had a stack of papers in his hand.

It is not clear so far, whether the man was trying to assault Pinarayi Vijayan or not. However, media reports have said that he&nbsp;wanted to meet the chief minister. Later he threatened to commit suicide after which the authorities pinned him to the ground and handed him over to the police.

News agency PTI reported that the man is unstable and has been sent to the Institue of Human Behaviour and Allied Sciences in Shahdara.

Meanwhile, Congress MP Shashi Tharoor expressed his concern over the incident and for the Kerala chief minister.

"Just spoke to @vijayanpinarayi to express my concern over the attempted assault on him in Delhi. The politics of violence must end in India. I call on @PMOIndia to send a strong message to all that in our democracy there is no place for knives, guns or mob-lynchers. @CMOKerala," Tharoor wrote on Twitter.

BJP President Amit Shah today hit out at his Congress counterpart Rahul Gandhi saying that the country questions his party's four generations of power.

While addressing a public rally in Rajasthan's Rajsamand, Shah said &nbsp;"Rahul Baba, you question our four years in power? While the country seeks an answer from you for your four generations".

He further hit out at the Congress President over his Italian lineage saying that if he had known Italian he would have told Rahul about his government's contribution.

Shah said, " Rahul baba if you know counting then count, I don't know Italian else I would have told you in Italian how much we have given to public".

Highlighting his government's schemes he said Modi Government has brought 116 schemes for Rajasthan populace and still Congress asks what has BJP done.

India said on Saturday that delayed higher tariffs against some goods imported from the United States will go into force on September 18.

New Delhi, incensed by Washington's refusal to exempt it from new tariffs, decided in June to raise import tax from August 4 on some US&nbspproducts, including almonds, walnuts and apples and later delayed the move.

Officials from New Delhi and Washington, including US&nbspSecretary of State Mike Pompeo and Defense Secretary Jim Mattis, are scheduled to hold a series of meetings including strategic talks with their Indian counterparts in September.

Trade differences between India and the United States have been rising since President Donald Trump took office. Bilateral trade rose to $115 billion in 2016, but the Trump administration wants to reduce its $31 billion deficit with India and is pressing New Delhi to ease trade barriers.

India, the world's biggest buyer of US&nbspalmonds, in June decided to raise import duties on the commodity by 20 per cent, joining the European Union and China in retaliating against Trump's tariff hikes on steel and aluminium.

It had also planned to impose a 120 per cent duty on the import of walnuts in the strongest action yet against the United States.

India has proposed to buy petroleum products from the US&nbspto help narrow the trade deficit. The United States has also emerged as a top arms supplier to India and US&nbspcompanies are bidding for military aircraft deals worth billions of dollars.

India to impose delayed tariffs on some US goods next month

Months after a report was released by the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) on Kashmir, a spokesperson for UN chief Antonio Guterres has declined to comment on the report.

The report called for a probe into the alleged human rights violations in Kashmir by both India and Pakistan.

UN chief Antonio Guterres said that it was for the human rights chief and the Member States of the Human Rights Council to speak for themselves and to evaluate its content.

His report did not get any support from other members of the Human Rights Council. Also, it was not followed up by anyone during the last session of the Council in Geneva in June.

India's Deputy Permanent Representative to the UN Ambassador Tanmaya Lal had said that the "so-called" report reflected the "clear bias of an official who was acting without any mandate whatsoever and relied on unverified sources of information".

Al Hussein's four-year term ends August 31 and he is not seeking a re-election to the post.

At a farewell news conference at the UN on Thursday, Al Hussein said he still stood by his report.

UN chief's spokesperson declines to comment on United Nation's report on Kashmir

India has become the third Asian country after Japan and South Korea to get the <a href="http://wionews.com/south-asia/granting-sta-1-status-to-india-by-us-continued-policy-of-discrimination-against-pak-foreign-office--156692">Strategic Trade Authorization-1 (STA-1) </a>status after the US issued a federal notification to this effect, paving the way for high-technology product sales to New Delhi, particularly in civil space and defence sectors.

India is the 37th country to be designated the <a href="http://wionews.com/india-news/culmination-to-countrys-designation-as-major-us-defence-partner-mea-on-indias-sta-1-status-155967">STA-1 status</a> by the United States.

The federal notification, issued yesterday, gains significance as the Trump Administration made an exception for India, which is yet to become a member of the Nuclear Suppliers Group (NSG).

Traditionally, the US has placed only those countries in the STA-1 list who are members of the four export control regimes: Missile Technology Control Regime (MTCR), Wassenaar Arrangement (WA), Australia Group (AG) and the NSG.

In its federal notification, the Trump Administration notes that India is a member of three of the four multilateral export regimes.&nbsp;

Mainly because of the political opposition from China, India's membership application has been pending before NSG, which takes a decision by consensus.

By placing India in the STA-1 list, the United States has acknowledged that for all practical purposes India adheres to the export control regimes of the NSG.

This exception for New Delhi is intended to send a strong political message to China and the world, taking into account that America's closest ally Israel is yet to be given this status, primarily because it is not a member of these multilateral export control regimes.

"This action befits India's status as a Major Defence Partner and recognises" the country's membership in three of the four export control regimes -- the MTCR, WA and AG, the federal notification said.

This rule is another in the series of rules that implement reforms to which the US and India mutually agreed to promote global non-proliferation, expand high technology cooperation and trade, and ultimately facilitate India's full membership in the four multilateral export control regimes.

This rule also makes conforming amendments, the federal notification said.

According to the notification, the US and India continue their commitment to work together to strengthen the global non-proliferation and export control framework and further transform bilateral export control cooperation to recognise the full potential of the global strategic partnership between the two countries.

This commitment has been realised in the two countries' mutually agreed upon steps to expand cooperation in civil space, defence, and other high-technology sectors and the complementary steps of the US to realign India in US export control regulations, and support India's membership in the four multilateral export control regimes, it said.

To date, with the effective support of the US, India has been admitted to three of the four multilateral export control regimes, the MTCR on June 27, 2016, the Wassenaar Arrangement on December 7, 2017, and the Australia Group on January 19, 2018.

These memberships, important to the two countries' global strategic partnership, are enhanced by the US' recognition of India as a Major Defence Partner in the India-US Joint Statement of June 7, 2016, titled, "The United States and India: Enduring Global Partners in the 21st Century."

"This recognition facilitates and supports India's military modernisation efforts with the US as a reliable provider of advanced defence articles," the notification said.

As a result, the Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS), formally recognises under the Export Administration Regulations (EAR) India's membership in the WA multilateral export control regimes and revises the EAR accordingly, the federal notification said.

"In addition, to export control-related benefits for India as a result of prior amendments to the EAR in furtherance of the US-India global strategic partnership, BIS places India in Country Group A:5, which provides the benefit of greater availability of License Exception Strategic Trade Authorization (STA) for exports and reexports to, and transfers within India under the EAR," it said.

The federal notification states that because India has been admitted to the MTCR, Wassenaar and AG multilateral regimes and is a 'Major Defense Partner', it is listed in favoured country groups for purposes of license requirements, license application review policy and availability of license exceptions.

Membership in favoured country groups generally reduces the number of licenses required and increases the number of license exceptions available.

"Therefore, BIS believes that this rule will reduce the paperwork burden to the public," the notification said.

Significantly, the US did away with the public notification period before issuing this notification.

"Because this regulation involves a military or foreign affairs function of the United States," it argued.

"This rule implements decisions of multilateral export control regimes, of which the United States is a supporting member, and the rule furthers the objectives of the strategic commitment established between the United States and India," the notification said, while observing that delay in implementing the rule to obtain public comment would undermine the foreign policy objectives that it is intended to implement.

India so far was listed in STA-2 category along with Albania, Hong Kong, Israel, Malta, Singapore, South Africa and Taiwan.

Top party leaders attend Congress working committee meet

A man was gunned down by the security personnel on trying to enter the residence of former Jammu and Kashmir chief minister Farooq Abdullah.

"The intruder breached the main gate and went inside. He had a scuffle with the duty officers there. Duty officer was also injured. After that he entered the residence, there has been some sort of damage to the articles over there. Subsequently, he was shot dead," Vivek Gupta,&nbsp;SSP Jammu told ANI.&nbsp;

The suspect has been identified as&nbsp;Murfas Shah who was a resident of Jammu and Kashmir's Poonch area.&nbsp;

A man was gunned down by the security personnel on trying to enter the residence of former Jammu and Kashmir chief minister Farooq Abdullah. "The intruder breached the main gate and went inside. Antigua and Barbuda's Citizenship By Investment Unit (CIU) has clarified that it took all steps to ensure fugitive diamantaire and <a href="http://wionews.com/india-news/mehul-choksi-is-in-antigua-cbi-sources-156615">Punjab National Bank (PNB) scam accused Mehul Choksi</a> was a 'fit and proper candidate'&nbspfor the grant of citizenship as allowed under the country's Citizenship By Investment Act.

In a press release, the CIU stated that Choksi's application was received by them in May 2017 with the necessary documents required, including a police clearance certificate as required by the Antigua and Barbuda Citizenship By Investment Act 2013.

"The said police clearance certificate from the Government of India, Ministry of External Affairs Regional Passport Office, Mumbai, certified that there was no adverse information against Choksi which would render him ineligible for grant of travel facilities including a visa for Antigua and Barbuda," the CIU said.

In the said statement published by Antigua Observer, the CIU has also said that Choksi's application was subjected to stringent background checks and that the final decision was taken after results of all of these checks were received and assessed.

The CIU also revealed that they received documentation of two instances in which the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), in 2014 and 2017, opened investigations on a corporate entity owned by Choksi.

According to the statement, the CIU's review of online reports on this matter noted that the CBI indicated that Interpol had not made direct contact with them requesting information on Choksi.

The CIU maintained that its background investigations do in fact included Interpol.

Furthermore, the CIU clarified that if there was an active warrant for Choksi at the time his citizenship application was being processed, the information should have already been made available to Interpol, a notification of which would have been readily accessible by the CIU and its partners.

"The warrant should have formed a part of the criminal records database in India and therefore declared in the police clearance certificate issued by the Ministry of External Affairs," the CIU release stated.

As per the statement, the CIU`s investigations revealed that notice of the current investigation was first issued by Indian authorities to law enforcement on January 31, 2018.

The CIU maintained that these matters emerged well after the background vetting process, which have resulted in the August 2017 approval of Choksi`s application and his subsequent registration as a citizen in November 2017.

"Peace, law and order cannot be allowed to be disturbed. The senior civil and police officials explained to the leaders that their going out for meetings will tantamount to violation of the prohibitory orders in force and it is the responsibility of the law enforcement authorities to prevent violation of law," Saikia added.

Guwahati police commissioner Nath, in an order, had said the TMC MPs, MLAs and any other political and non-political persons, who might deliver inflammatory speeches against the NRC, were prohibited from entering the city and address any gathering without the permission of the competent authority.

The police commissioner stated that it was feared that the TMC leaders were likely to make controversial or inflammatory speeches in Guwahati, which might disturb peace and harmony in the area.

"When the NRC process is going on under the direction of the Supreme Court and its complete draft was published with the cooperation of all people in Assam and there is peace in the state, one section is trying to destroy it by creating disturbances, we cannot allow them to take law into their hand. We cannot remain silent. We have to take measures," Saikia added.

Distancing itself from the backlash it faced on social media over the default inclusion of '1800-300-1947' in the contact list of Android phones, the Unique Identification Authority of India said in a statement that, "...The said 18003001947 is not a valid UIDAI toll free number and some vested interests are trying to create unwarranted confusion in the public".

The UIDAI's valid toll-free number is 1947, which is functional for more than the last two years, it said.

"UIDAI has reiterated that it has not asked or advised anyone including any telecom service providers or mobile manufacturers or Android to include 18003001947 or 1947 in the default list of public service numbers," the statement added.

Referring to the reports on the automatic inclusion of the UIDAI's "outdated and invalid" helpline number 1800-300-1947 in phone's contact list, the Aadhaar-issuing body said that it "has not asked or communicated to any manufacturer or service provider for providing any such facility whatsoever".

Amid heightened privacy concerns, many on social media have questioned how the UIDAI helpline number had crept into their smartphone contact list.

Reacting on the possible threat to Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath during his visit to Delhi and subsequent tightening of security, Uttar Pradesh Police on Friday said it was just a part of their security drill, which was done based on threat perception, reported news agency ANI.

"There is no specific reason for this, it is a part of our drill. On the basis of threat perception, we increase the security of VVIPs," IG Law and Order Praveen Kumar Tripathi was quoted as saying.

According to Madhya Pradesh police, a terror threat is lurking over the chief minister, following which they issued an alert to enhance his security.

In an advisory to Delhi and UP police, the MP police have claimed that young boys might attack Yogi Adityanath.

"They could also target important religious places in Uttar Pradesh", MP police said.

Choksi, who along with his nephew Nirav Modi, is accused of defrauding India's second largest public lender Punjab National Bank (PNB) of $1.8 billion. &nbsp;&nbsp;

Choksi is currently residing in Antigua and Barbuda taking citizenship in the Carribean country to expand his business as the passport of the Caribbean nation provides visa-free travel to 132 countries, local media in Antigua reported.&nbsp;

Choksi had taken the citizenship of Antigua in November 2017 after an oath of allegiance on January 15 this year, according to a local newspaper Antigua Observer.

After it emerged that Choksi had moved to the Caribbean country in July and also taken a local passport, the CBI wrote to Antiguan authorities seeking his whereabouts.&nbsp;

The Antigua Government has indicated that it may consider "a legitimate request" from India to send back Nirav Modi and Mehul Choksi.

Nirav Modi and Choksi are being investigated by the ED and the CBI after it was detected that they allegedly cheated the Punjab National Bank of more than Rs 13,400 crore with the purported involvement of a few of the lender's employees.

The scam, which reportedly began in 2011, was detected in January this year, after which PNB officials reported it to the probe agencies. Choksi and Nirav Modi fled India in January this year nearly a fortnight before the scam was detected.

Choksi's actions show that he had planned his escape and subsequent life in advance knowing that the scam would blow up after the retirement of PNB employee Gokulnath Shetty, who was allegedly helping him with the renewal of letters of undertaking, sources had said.

NIA Special Court in Mumbai has filed charge-sheet against Rizwan Ahmed alias Khalid and Mohsin Ibrahim Sayyed Mumbai in Malvani ISIS case.&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp

NIA had registered a case as per directions by Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India. &nbspThe case relates to the indoctrination of Ayaz Mohamad Sultan and other youth of Malwani area, Malad, to join terrorist organization ISIS (Islamic State of Iraq and Syria), prescribed by Government of India, and to the commit terrorist acts and wage war against nations allied to India.

The investigation had revealed that the accused Ayaz Mohammed entered into a criminal conspiracy with Mohsin Ibrahim Sayyed and his handler Yusuf Al Hindi during 2015 in propagating the Jihadi activities of ISIS with the common objective and intention to join ISIS. &nbsp

In pursuance of the above conspiracy, Ayaz Mohammed got a Passport in September, 2015 and got Visa in October, 2015 and left for Kabul from Indira Gandhi International Airport, New Delhi and joined ISIS in Afghanistan.

The investigation had also revealed that the accused Rizwan Ahmed of Uttar Pradesh and Mohsin Ibrahim Sayyed were involved in unlawful activities of instigating youths of Malwani area, Malad to join ISIS.&nbsp

It has also been revealed that the duo supported the ISIS in its terrorist act and instigated, advocated, advised, incited youth of the Malwani area to leave India to join the proscribed terrorist organization.&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp

The NIA Special Court has framed charges against both the aforesaid accused under sections&nbsp120B of IPC and Sections 18, 20, 38 & 39 of UA (P) Act.
