Vasudha Rai is a well-known author and columnist, with experience of over two decades in the beauty and wellness industry. She is now bringing her expertise to the audio format, encapsulating a wide range of topics from age-appropriate beauty routines to the impact of meditation, nutraceuticals, and gut health on the skin.

The Audible Original goes beyond surface-level beauty concerns, addressing trending topics such as injectables, derma facials, and DIY skincare.

Here are five interesting facts that Vasudha shares in the audiobook:

Healthy Fats Nourish the Liver
She introduces the significance of coconut and ghee. These healthy fats, she reveals, support liver health by not requiring bile for digestion—a crucial insight for those seeking wholesome beauty, from the inside out.

Vitamin D and Skin Health
In the audiobook, she sheds light on the intimate connection between Vitamin D deficiency and skin health, associating it with conditions such as atopic dermatitis and psoriasis. She articulates how addressing this deficiency can alleviate symptoms of itchy, irritated skin.

Meditative Practices for Cellular Rejuvenation
Vasudha advocates for meditative practices to prevent the shortening of telomeres—a marker of cellular ageing. By incorporating meditation, listeners can proactively engage in practices that contribute to a more youthful, vibrant appearance.

Acids vs. Retinoids
Dispelling beauty myths, particularly for those in their 20s, she asserts that acids are superior to retinoids. Unlike retinoids, acids don’t cause a purge, preventing the breakouts often associated with the latter.

Perspective on Retinol
"The Swiss chemist who first isolated retinol in 1931 received a Nobel Prize for his efforts,” she recounts. However, this ingredient was later misused for experiments on convicts in prison. It's quite a cautionary tale that adds depth to one’s choices, urging listeners to tread carefully in the pursuit of beauty and wellness.

Commenting on the launch of the audiobook, Vasudha Rai said, “I have personally experienced that beauty is both an inside-out and outside-in journey. With this audiobook, exclusively available on Audible, I wanted to cover every aspect of this experience.”

The preliminary hearing included evidence in the form of surveillance footage which shows a group of men involved in an argument at an intersection. However, you don’t see any “actual shooting” in the video, according to reports. In additional footage, you hear sounds like two gunshots and then a man comes running around a corner for a bit before he starts walking normally. While it's not clear who the man is in the video, a Los Angeles detective in an earlier trial testified that their unit identified the man as Rocky.

Rapper A$AP Rocky denies shooting Terell Ephron (formerly known as A$AP Relli) in a November 2021 episode. This is not the first time he has pleaded not guilty to felony gun charges.

Rapper A$AP Rocky denies shooting Terell Ephron (formerly known as A$AP Relli) in a November 2021 episode. This is not the first time he has pleaded not guilty to felony gun charges. A$AP Rocky was first arrested at the Los Angeles International Airport in connection to the crime in April 2022. The case has been building up ever since. In November, during a preliminary hearing, a Los Angeles judge ruled there was sufficient evidence for Rocky to go on trial. Selena Gomez To Billie Eilish: Worst Dressed Celebs At Golden Globes 2024

Golden Globes 2024 kicked off the awards season of the year with glamour and style as celebrities put their best fashion foot forward. While some looks were a hit, some were a total miss. Check out our list of some of the most underwhelming celeb red-carpet appearances.

The singer of Barbie’s hit song “What Was I Made For?” tried really hard to break away from a spate of Barbie-inspired outfits she was recently seen sporting, but this look didn’t do justice to that thought. Her loose skirt, oversized blazer on top of an oversized white shirt looked out of place. The socks and shoes didn’t do her any good too.

Helen usually opts for classic glamour and this dress wouldn’t have dragged her to the worst-dressed list if she had just ditched the voluminous jacket that came with the regal lilac gown.

The Color Purple actress tried to give us something different, but it certainly didn’t land. Her dress had some velvet, some white lace and some chiffon, but it all together looked a bit too much and all over the place.

She could have done better! The lace work in the length of her gown made the look more chaotic than intended.

Ariana Grande is keeping her promise of bringing new music for her fans in the new year as her upcoming song “Yes, And?” already has a release date. The song will release on the coming Friday and will be part of her long-awaited seventh studio album. Keeping up with the tradition of naming songs and albums with a funny name, the new song is taking it a step ahead from her 2019 semi-autobiographical single and album, “Thank U, Next.”
