Interestingly, new species of this plant were discovered this year. It was found living in national parks of Brazil and Madagascar.&nbsp;

"We regret the inaccurate and unwarranted comments made by USCIRF on CAB," the MEA said, adding, "they have chosen to be guided by their prejudices and biases on a matter on which they have little knowledge and no locus standi."

"The Bill provides expedited consideration for Indian citizenship to persecuted religious minorities already in India from certain contiguous countries. It seeks to address their current difficulties and meet their basic human rights," it said.

"Such an initiative should be welcomed, not criticised by those who are genuinely committed to religious freedom," the MEA statement said.

On Tuesday, the US House foreign affairs committee has raised concerns over the passage of the Citizenship Amendment Bill in Lok Sabha.&nbsp;

The gunman was identified as a 42-year-old man. He had opened fire in the hospital killing four men and two women while injuring three other people.

The gunman was allegedly shooting from a close range. Police are yet to understand the motive of the attack.

The man escaped after the shooting but was tracked down to a village after an extensive search operation. The perpetrator shot himself as the police descended with helicopters.

"We have found the gunman. The 42-year-old man shot himself in the head before the police took action, he's dead," police said.

"As far as we know, the man is not in our database of legal gun owners," the police chief said, adding that he used "short firearm"&nbsp;during the attack. The man shot himself in the head, police said.

According to the police officials, the shooting happened around 7 am on Tuesday morning. It is the worst shooting incident in the country since 2015 when a gunman killed eight people at a restaurant in Uhersky Brod, about 180 miles southeast of Prague.

Lewis, Hetmyer hammer India as West Indies set 208-run target in first T20I

Craig Mokhiber, director of the New York office of the UN High Commissioner for human rights, has stepped down from his position after protesting what he has called a "text book case of genocide" in the Gaza Strip. As reported by multiple media outlets, Mokhiber has said this in his resignation letter in addition to other serious assertions.

Saying that this will be his last communication to UN High Commissioner in Geneva Volker Turk, Mokhiber has said that the United Nations was "failing" to do its duty as Israeli bombardment of the Gaza Strip continues.

He alleged that the US, the UK and large number of countries in Europe were "wholly complicit in the horrific assault". Mokhiber wrote to the UN high commissioner on October 28.

“Once again we are seeing a genocide unfolding before our eyes and the organization we serve appears powerless to stop it,” he said as reported by The Guardian.

In his letter, Mokhiber also said the there have been number of occasions in past when the United Nations has failed to stop a genocide mentioning the Rwandan genocide, Muslims in Bosnia, Yazidis in Iraqi Kurdistan and Rohingya in Myanmar.

“The 17th was the crucial hole for me as I knew that I had to at least make a par there in order to have a comfortable two-shot lead going into the last hole which would almost seal my win. I was in trouble with my first two shots on that hole but luckily I got relief with a free drop after my second shot. Thereafter, the chip-in came just at the right time for me and gave me that two-shot cushion going into the last hole which helped me relax and raised my confidence.

“It’s a big relief to finally get a title under my belt as I had come close to winning on a few occasions in the past. I struck the ball really well this week and also chipped and putted well. I made the par-5s count through the tournament and my driving distance was a big positive. I averaged about 310 yards with my drives.

“My good form continues as I had a terrific outing at the Asian Tour event last week as well. I would now look to carry this form to the last few events of the season. I’m looking at making a huge improvement on my previous best finish on the PGTI Order of Merit which was 11th in 2018,” added the lanky Ahlawat, the son of an Army officer.
