5 Things To Be Done By First Timers At Gym

The stakes are up, and you are finally going to workout at the gym. You want to build a physique, but there’s a lot more than willpower that you will need to pull through it.

Once you have verified and assessed that your gym trainer is qualified enough to accelerate your transformation journey, follow the instructions with utmost discipline.

There will be times you’ll feel like giving up. Keep in mind the physique you want before you skip that crucial day.

4. You are gymming for self-confidence not comparison

You will see chiselled bodies around you and that sense of comparison is natural. With your images as reference, once you are on to your transformation journey, focus should be you feeling confident about your body.

5. Take second opinion about protein supplements

Always take second-opinion about protein supplements recommended at your gym. There may be some hidden allergy you didn’t know about that may get triggered by the supplement concerned. A second opinion would do no harm.

The stakes are up, and you are finally going to workout at the gym. These are the things you must do as a first-timer.

<p>Before preparing to slay for the day with a 'snacc' like look, the Gen-Zers end up 'snackifying' themselves with a real binge on snacks, research by market intelligence agency Mintel showed.&nbsp;</p>

<p>But on the contrary the people of Gen-Z have an intent to eat 'healthy', the research showed.&nbsp;</p>

<p>According to an employee well-being survey by Mumbai-based The 7th Fold, higher share of Gen-Z binge&nbsp;eats (60 per cent) than Millennials (49 per cent) and Gen-X (40 per cent).&nbsp;</p>

Gen-Z intends to be healthy but they binge-eat the most, research shows

<p>The economist who coined the BRICS acronym during his time at Goldman Sachs has derided the idea of the group of emerging nations developing their own currency as 'ridiculous', as Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa contemplate expanding the bloc.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Lord Jim O'Neill, who introduced the term BRICS in a 2001 research note as chief economist at Goldman Sachs, claimed in an interview with Financial Times that beyond geopolitical symbolism, BRICS has not achieved anything substantial since its inception.</p>

<p>The current BRICS five contribute 31.5 per cent of global GDP overtaking the cumulative financial strength of Group of Seven (Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, the United Kingdom, and the United States, as well as the European Union) nations who contribute 30 per cent of global GDP.</p>

<p>The BRICS is expected to contribute over 50 per cent of global GDP by 2030, with the proposed enlargement almost certainly bringing that forward.</p>

<h2><strong>BRICS expansion: Discourse over common currency and countering dollar's dominance</strong></h2>

<p>The BRICS nations are contemplating a definite expansion during the upcoming summit in South Africa next week. At the same time, Brazil's President Lula has staunchly called for countering the dollar's dominance, an assertion which has found support from host South Africa's President Cyril Ramaphosa.&nbsp;</p>

<p>O’Neill&nbsp;also slammed the proposition of a BRICS central bank, saying it will be difficult to implement.</p>

<h2><strong>Is a potential expansion of BRICS creating jitters in the West?</strong></h2>

The economist who coined the BRICS acronym during his time at Goldman Sachs has derided the idea of the group of emerging nations developing their own currency as 'ridiculous', as Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa contemplate expanding the bloc. Lord Jim O'Neill, who introduced the term BRICS in a 2001 research note as chief economist at Goldman Sachs, claimed in an interview with Financial Times that beyond geopolitical symbolism, BRICS has not achieved anything substantial since its inception. The current BRICS five contribute 31.5 per cent of global GDP overtaking the cumulative financial strength of Group of Seven (Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, the United Kingdom, and the United States, as well as the European Union) nations who contribute 30 per cent of global GDP. The BRICS is expected to contribute over 50 per cent of global GDP by 2030, with the proposed enlargement almost certainly bringing that forward. BRICS expansion: Discourse over common currency and countering dollar's dominance The BRICS nations are contemplating a definite expansion during the upcoming summit in South Africa next week. At the same time, Brazil's President Lula has staunchly called for countering the dollar's dominance, an assertion which has found support from host South Africa's President Cyril Ramaphosa. Is a potential expansion of BRICS creating jitters in the West? Yes, it is. This is because an expansion of BRICS on the lines of economic cooperation would seek alternative financial pathways for international trade against US-dominated SWIFT and the dollar as the default currency for the market. Five Green Flags To Look For On First Date

If you are on a date and they say they can cook better than what was just served on the table, that's a green flag.

2. They love some form of art or activity

It could be books, painting, music, cinema, pop or something as basic as cycling or exercising or gymming. If they can't stop talking about how the art or activity they love is the world's best offering, that's a green flag.

People with ambition will understand your hopes and dreams for the life you want to live. Ambition is the salt that brings out the flavour of life in a person, and its presence is an absolute green flag.

Not everyone could essentially be an animal lover but if your date is one, that's the greenest of all flags.

Humility, not feeling they are the centre of the universe; and treating people with respect makes a person whole. If your date is humble, your date is most likely to be the one.

On your first date and there are many flags Ley's help you sort greenest of them all.

Millions affected across Europe as Mount Etna's eruption forces flight cancellations

<p>Women grappling with mental health challenges face an alarming 50 per cent higher risk of experiencing pre-term births, a study which is being deemed groundbreaking across medical circles, said.</p>

<p>The study was published in the Lancet Psychiatry and involved researchers from institutions, including the University of Exeter, King’s College London, the London School of Hygiene &amp; Tropical Medicine, and the University of Liverpool.</p>

<h2><strong>Why is it groundbreaking?</strong></h2>

<p>This is because the data cited is massive. The research is extensive since it is based on data from over 2 million pregnancies in England.</p>

<p>A pattern emerged that approximately one in 10 women who used mental health services had pre-term births, compared to one in 15 who did not seek such services.</p>

<p>Moreover, the study establishes a compelling connection between the severity of previous mental health issues and adverse birth outcomes.&nbsp;</p>

<p>It indicates that women previously admitted to psychiatric hospitals are nearly twice as likely to have preterm births compared to those without prior contact with mental health services.</p>

<p>Additionally, women with a history of mental health difficulties face with an increased likelihood of giving birth to babies smaller than their gestational age would suggest (75 per 1,000 births versus 56 per 1,000 births).</p>

<h2><strong>What does the study propose?</strong></h2>

<p>The study proposes a crucial change in the approach to pregnant women's initial assessments by doctors and medical professionals.&nbsp;</p>

<p>It advocates for comprehensive and sensitive inquiries into their mental health, aiming to identify early signs of potential complications.</p>

<p>Louise Howard, one of the authors of the report and an expert in women’s mental health at King’s College London, described the importance of such screening.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"Mental illness is a treatable problem… maternity professionals will be focused on thinking about other modifiable risk factors such as smoking and obesity, but they may not have thought about some of the additional risks that women with mental illness may have," Howard was quoted as saying by The Guardian.</p>

<p>Furthermore, the study stresses the connection between adverse birth outcomes and the severity of mental health issues, underscoring the necessity of comprehensive training for medical health professionals and obstetricians in handling mental health matters.</p>

It indicates that women previously admitted to psychiatric hospitals are nearly twice as likely to have preterm births compared to those without prior contact with mental health services. What does the study propose? The study proposes a crucial change in the approach to pregnant women's initial assessments by doctors and medical professionals. It advocates for comprehensive and sensitive inquiries into their mental health, aiming to identify early signs of potential complications. Louise Howard, one of the authors of the report and an expert in women’s mental health at King’s College London, described the importance of such screening. "Mental illness is a treatable problem… maternity professionals will be focused on thinking about other modifiable risk factors such as smoking and obesity, but they may not have thought about some of the additional risks that women with mental illness may have," Howard was quoted as saying by The Guardian. Furthermore, the study stresses the connection between adverse birth outcomes and the severity of mental health issues, underscoring the necessity of comprehensive training for medical health professionals and obstetricians in handling mental health matters.
